Despite children not being at any significant risk of Covid-19 and being forced into getting two injections already, children aged 12-15 in the US are now permitted to get a third booster shot thanks to new approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The FDA has decided that children must get booster jabs immediately to “flatten the curve”, regardless of dangerous side effects such as myocarditis and pericarditis that children – especially boys – are at risk of developing post-vaccination.
Peter Marks, the FDA’s vaccines chief, said that parents should not worry about the potential heart effects of these jabs because most inflammation in younger patients is “mild.”
Meanwhile, Dr Robert Malone, MS, MD, was recently banned from Twitter for highlighting the dangers of heart conditions such as myocarditis and pericarditis which these vaccines can cause.
Marks instead insists that giving children the booster vaccine “may help provide better protection against both the delta and omicron variants,” especially since the new Omicron variant is “slightly more resistant” to the vaccines.
Not only did the FDA authorise the Pfizer vaccine for children aged 12-15, it also shortened the waiting time between injections. Now, young children can get both vaccines in as little as five months as opposed to having to wait six months.
Children 5-11 who are considered to be “immunocompromised” will also be allowed to take a third injection along with children 12-15 who are not immunocompromised. This includes children: “… who have undergone solid organ transplantation, or who have been diagnosed with conditions that are considered to have an equivalent level of immunocompromise, may not respond adequately to the two-dose primary vaccination series.”
