LOL, that’s fine! I had never heard of taking black walnut oil so now I’m curious about it too. I’m going to check it out. I know it has been used topically for fungus or something, mostly on animals, but that’s all. I learned something.
Welcome! I found all ranges of doses on the Net but none were very high. The label says 1 tsp. and that was enough to jump start my lungs. I’m going down to 1/2 tsp. in hot tea for a while. The main warning it comes with is to use caution if you take blood thinners so I for sure wouldn’t take a larger dose than recommended, on purpose anyway. 😁

Great info! I have looked into those portable units that make oxygen but it’s fairly new technology and the price is huge! I have asthma so I was looking for one for me for seasonal breathing issues plus covid.
I see him go down daily. Our granddaughter is a physical therapy assistant and is currently in school to be a PT. She gave him a lot of leg exercises to do because they are SO weak. His balance is bad, and we worry about him falling. He’s still around 200 pounds so if he goes down and can’t get up, he’s down until paramedics get here. I’m strong but I’m almost 100 pounds less so picking him up is out. I like for him to walk to the mailbox because it’s absolutely the only exercise he gets all day except for the once-a-week trash take down. He will pull the trash can down to the end of the driveway but it’s like getting a kid to do his chores. He has to be reminded every week to take it and go bring it back up. If he’s really bad I will do it but most of the time he can. It’s not far but it takes so much out of him, because of his weak legs, that he sometimes has to stop and sit on the chair at the foot of the ramp before he comes up the ramp. I’m almost 20 years younger, in my 60’s, and it’s tempting to do it all for him, but he needs to be out of the recliner and moving.
I have tried to get him to use a walker but he refuses because that’s for “old” people. Well??? His choice is use the walker or exercise his legs. There is nothing medically wrong with him to keep him in his chair and not moving.
Because of all of this (the weak legs and underworked lungs) I worry about covid. Since I’m the one that has to get out and about, I worry about giving it to him. If I get it and die from it, he’s in trouble, and so are my pups. I’m his caretaker when he’s bad and I have dogs that have to be taken care of. I have tried to teach him how to care for them but it doesn’t stick. It’s common to get a call while I’m in town to tell me one or all of them wants to go out and what should he do. They have a fenced yard so all he has to do is open the door.
Yes, my stress level is enormous some days. LOL I really enjoy his good days but I see them getting fewer and fewer.
Sometimes I just have to vent.
I saw a show on TV the other day where they were laughing at “Bless Your Heart” and calling it a hateful statement that Southern women use. I have heard a few of the younger ones say it that way but in my grandmother’s time it was a truly sympathetic saying, especially when nothing else worked. They were sincere. Most still are.
My grandmother was exactly that way. I am, to a point. She could flog you with her statements and what she said took a minute to sink in. Southern women could be fierce! 😁
Sorry, I shouldn’t have posted this at all. Singapore has only 1 or 2 deaths with covid a day. These are pointless figures.

Agreed. Whenever I encounter a vaxxed person who discloses their status, I say with any luck you got the saline. Deer in the headlights. I’m happy in the deplorable control group.
My grandma used to always say that. And she was the sweetest person ever. And she wasn’t southern, unless you include Southern Italian and Sicily. Anyone who says it is bad is a complete ignoramus and lives in a left wing bubble.
