"There is no federal solution," President Joe Biden told the nation's governors last week while addressing surging COVID cases from the Omicron variant, the latest wrinkle in the coronavirus pandemic. "This gets solved at the state level."
That's exactly what then-President Donald Trump said in 2020. While campaigning for the presidency, Biden accused Trump of "not having a plan" to beat COVID, while he himself did. Now, with this apparent reversal of his campaign message, Biden seems to be channeling the position championed by his predecessor, who said in April 2020 that the federal government should be a "backstop" for whatever states chose to do to control their health emergencies.
Biden's tacit acknowledgment that Trump was right about the scope of a federal pandemic response and his explicit praise of Trump's messaging on vaccines this month begs the question: What else might Trump have been right about?

A year later, the narrative has shifted. Trump's suspicion of the Wuhan lab is now mainstream. International anger at China's obfuscation of the origins of the pandemic boiled over. Biden ordered US intelligence agencies to investigate the origins of the pandemic, including the lab leak theory.

What a headline. If true, and his fiercest critics agree with his Covid fighting strategy: then contrast that to his fiercest supporters who disagree with his Covid fighting strategy.

The key line is “Kill millions in the process”. If they are willing to do that to get rid of Trump, what makes anyone believe they didn’t release the virus in the first place?
You didn’t to get past the fourth paragraph before the orange man bad bs starts in earnest.
I’m looking at this more as another item for the dems Article 25 file. They’ll need to invoke it next January. If not before.
Trump doesn’t believe in mandates. Most of his supporters don’t believe in mandates either. They seem to be in agreement.

If he believes that vaccines are safe and effective, he might as well believe in mandates.

IMHO the only thing he did wrong was ignore advisors who warned him to be careful in making appointments because he was surrounded by vicious enemies in both parties, in every single agency, in all three branches of government, and throughout the entire news media (i.e. The Deep State). He didn’t listen and he still hasn’t listened or he would have created a true second political party for his 80+ million supporters. If he runs in 2024 his own Party will be doing everything it can to see him defeated. PITIFUL!
