I'm so glad this didn't happen in Cook County, Kim Foxx would have dropped all charges and gone after the surviving officer for racial profiling and police brutality...

My nephew knew both of the officers that were shot.
The dirtbag shooters should be put down in horrible ways...

Innocent.
They were defending themselves against white rage.
That.s how democrats will be discussing this.
There is no end to this as long as democrats are in control.

I wish they could, but Illinois got rid of their Capital Punishment laws years ago. So the best they can do is life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Good Lord, if we can all agree that women aren't as strong as men, and men are the main perpetrators of these violent crimes, why are we, as a society, allowing women to get into these deadly circumstances?
Women do great in other police administrative work but why have the weaker sex doing this frontline police work that they have no business being in?

The story leaves me with the impression that she fled when her partner was shot. And apparently continued fleeing while being chased by homeboy with a jammed weapon

No death penalty in Illinois for many years due to corrupt Republican Governor that signed the law on his way to Federal prison to serve time.

Yeah. She seemed to know the community without knowing too much about people. I get a Marge Gunderson vibe from her picture.

Having women as patrol officers is loony. If she tries to cuff a 220 lb male who decides he doesn’t want to be cuffed things can get ugly in hurry. The male can easily grab the female officer and take her weapon.

No more death penalty in Illinois. Life, without the chance of parole is the best they can hope for.
