Tarpley Texas about an hour west of San Antonio has a road side shack that does cabrito burgers worth the drive over. So good that episode one stop one of diners drives ins and dives nearly 20 years ago was the first episode. They blew up after DDD showed up but still a locals spot. I hunt in Kerrville near by and stop every season.

Good to know! I am from the Hill Country, and I still make regular pilgrimages to my old Stomping Grounds in San Antonio and Kerrville.

I was in Tarpley a few months ago during one of my regular trips to the Hill Country, so I’ll have to ask some locals the next time I am down there.
