Daughter goes to St. John’s in Houston, a snooty ((non-Catholic) private school. These schools may be even more PC than public schools, so the child abuse is even worse.

Flip phones are your friends. I kept my kids off of everything humanly possible (even going to the point of snipping out WIFI antennas in their computers), and their phones were flip phones until they were 18. Did they get on anyway - of course, but it was limited as it had to be through their friends.
And no, it didn’t damage them (I know, hard to believe).
Yep if you don't have your house in order, forget try to do the same with the country. Trump did a great job with his children. Maybe he wasn't around much. He was always busy. But whatever he did, it worked.
Mitt Romney is annoying but he did great with his five sons. But that may be more of a Mormon thing.
