Some other fish that I saw looked like Gizzard Shad. No idea what this one is. I’m assuming that waterspouts would be more likely over salt water. Not sure how far the fish could be carried. Texarkana is a good distance from the Gulf.
If the finnage were more on display, that would tell the tale. Being a fingerling, it could be a bucketmouth or a sucker. (It certainly isn’t a panfish or a rough fish like a buffalo or gar.) But the Texarkana region is big bass country.
