the article doesn't differentiate whether it's omi or delta, but a previous article 15 days ago described the Korean hospitalized patients' symptoms as 'moderate to severe'.
Also, the article doesn't give the total cases in the 28K-strong force.

The article also doesn’t say that every single one of the people infected are vaccinated.

Skors are vaccine adverse, but all these soldats were *required* to be vaccinated. How long will it take them to figure out that unvaxxed civilians are far less prone to Covid than healthy US troops?

CAMP HUMPHREYS, South Korea — U.S. Forces Korea counted 467 new COVID-19 cases….
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let’s just ponder this for a minute... The CDC has said for quite some time now that the PCR and rapid antigen tests are crap and in fact Kary Mullis (person who invented the PCR test) said that “the PCR test should not be used to diagnose infectious diseases.”
To go further, the CDC just said a few days ago that the PCR test can not differentiate between the flu and the covid virus (which explains why the regular flu disappeared in 2020).
And the CDC has said just the other day that “PCR tests may return positive results for up to 12 weeks.”
So... with no reliable way of testing to prove anything, what exactly are they ‘counting’?
C’mon. How many “cases” are “with” Covid, not “from” Covid.
U.S. Forces Korea counted 467 new COVID-19 cases in the week ending Monday, the highest number of infections reported by the command since the pandemic began in March 2020.
How many have died ?
Korean War Casualties
Nearly 5 million people died. More than half of these–about 10 percent of Korea's prewar population–were civilians. (This rate of civilian casualties was higher than World War II's and the Vietnam War's.) Almost 40,000 Americans died in action in Korea, and more than 100,000 were wounded.
