Avideo of a woman slapping and punching an elderly man on a Delta Air Lines flight for eating without a mask has gone viral. Incidentally, the woman herself was not wearing her mask properly while the altercation took place.
The video shows the woman asking the elderly man, who is eating, to put his mask on. He tried to reason with her, saying he was eating. But the woman follows it up saying, “Who invited you to come sit here?”
After that, there was a brief exchange of verbal abuse between the two.(snip)
After a few more abusive words were hurled at each other, the stewardess tries to diffuse the situation by trying to take the woman back to her seat.
But, the man loudly says, “Sit down, Karen.” A few of the onlookers can be heard laughing quietly, which makes the man even more brazen. He further says, “You’re a goddamn Karen. Sit down.”(snip)
After this, another flight attendant tries to pacify the woman and asks her to keep her mask up and wear it properly. She ignores the attendant’s orders and points to the elderly man, telling him to put his mask up.
At this point, the elderly again uses derogatory slurs to insult the woman. The shocked woman asks, “Did you call me that?” before slapping the man and grabbing him by the collar of his shirt.
The man then says, “You are going to jail. This is assault, you’re going to jail.” The flight attendant then stops the woman from punching the man by holding her arm.
The woman was arrested for assaulting the man once the flight landed in Atlanta, Georgia.

Stupid. Plenty of “elderly” men are still capable of knocking the crap out of a woman. She’s lucky he didn’t punch her back.

I have come to the realization that many foot soldiers on the left are insane.
He should have ignored her. Let the FA handle it. Now he has to appear in court to testify. Nothing is to be gained by baiting unhinged people that you can’t get away from.

On the contrary.....she struck him AND spit on him.....he may just sue her into oblivion.
Normally you’d have to pay ten or fifteen bucks to see that kind of action on an airplane.
We had one on the airport shuttle bus screaming at all the passengers to don their masks or get off the bus. We all complied but i must admit the thought did cross my mind to antagonize this vile beotch to physical violence so I could physically defend myself by knocking it into next week, but i wanted to see my grandkids more than a jail cell.
That’s right — she did. Thanks for making my point. Kindly explain what the victim has to gain by suing a woman who’s broke.
It sets an example that this kind of behavior won’t be tolerated by law abiding citizens.
On the other hand not doing anything could and probably would embolden psychos like this.
Same thing with rioters and these smash and grab thugs....if they know there’s no penalty pr punishment it embolden them.

What does the victim have to gain? Satisfaction! I’d sue her too.
The courts have to figure out some punishment or pass on a white person getting incarcerated.
She was in incarnation of Karen. The man was very lucky.
I had a coworker, whose wife hit him, broke his glasses and gave him a bloody noise and cut lip. He grabbed her arms and held them so she could no longer hit him.
His wife called the police. They came as asked what had happened. The husband explained everything as explained above and showed them his broken glasses and his bloody face. The police then asked her if she hit her husband. She told the police that no she did not and could not explain how his glasses were broken or how his face got bloody.
The police then handcuffed and took the man to jail for assault. From their perspective he admitting to grabbing her arms, while she admitted to nothing. Therefore, he admitted to assaulting his wife from their perspective.
The point of this is that anytime a man and a woman get into a fight, the best course of action is for the man to leave or at least get distance and the police and courts are usually against him and his story.
This man was lucky in that it was well filmed and witnessed. In this day and age, even self defense can be considered criminal, just ask Kyle R. The justice system can work, but the costs of proving oneself innocent is often huge.
