His father and grandfather were “construction kings” of NYC. Sammy Gravano has a podcast and YouTube channel and In the 80s the construction king of NYC was Sammy. Also known as Sammy the Bull. Underboss to John Gotti and by his own admission killer of 19 people (at least). In the 80s he controlled a bunch of unions and the concrete industry totally. Nothing got built without his being part of it. His YouTube channel is fascinating on pulling back the curtain on a lot of mafia insider dope.
