A convicted felon charged last month with illegally possessing a handgun is now facing even more serious charges because he tried to flush a second handgun that cops didn’t know about down a police station toilet, according to prosecutors.
Police arrested Tavarus Walker, 24, on November 14 after they allegedly found a gun near his seat during a traffic stop in Chicago Lawn. Officers took Walker to the 8th District police station and put him into a holding cell.
Unbeknownst to officers, Walker had another gun in his waistband, according to the allegations. Surveillance video from the holding cell shows Walker removing the gun from his pants and putting it into the toilet, Assistant State’s Attorney John Gnilka said.

You'd think it would be about something like this, lol.
I’ll give him credit; a ten-watt bulb brightness rating. I’ll give the cops a similar rating. They take this clown in after finding a gun in his car (in plain sight) and then didn’t pad him down to find the one he took with him into the cell. Obviously he didn’t want that one found, but....Pathetic. He’ll be out soon causing additional crimes shortly, afterall, this is Chicago.
don’t worry, he’ll be released without bail, and they’ll probably give him his guns back too.
Was he frisked ??? Many at the station house put at risk . Results could have been tragic.

"I frisked him, he's fine."
INN HIS WAISTBAND?
Not a very good job of frisking him........
Good frisk! /s
“Unbeknownst to officers, Walker had another gun in his waistband”
From the looks of big boy, he had several waistbands.
Did the toilet get charged with illegal possession?
IT’S BIGGEE SMALLS!
Biggee (belly).
Smalls (IQ).
Walker allegedly tried to flush the gun down the toilet, but, as you might imagine, it didn’t go anywhere. So, Walker covered the submerged gun with toilet paper, Gnilka said.
A CPD employee found the gun in the toilet after Walker was transferred from the cell.

Foiled by a low-flow toilet.
I can’t imagine police not doing a waistband check before he got to the jail. Maybe the gun was hidden in a belly fat roll?

Most criminals ain’t very smart.....that’s why they’re criminals.
All kidding aside, it’s just another indication of the deterioration of society IMO....accelerated by the lack of upbringing from a traditional two parent family. As in missing fathers.
My church prison ministry provides mothers day and fathers day cards for inmates to send to their mothers and fathers.......we never have enough mothers day cards......anywhere between 50 to 75% of fathers day cards are always returned unused....very telling.
Great meme!
Dat ain’t mines!
The Cops didn’t do proper search.
The guy in the picture looks pretty hefty. You might need more than a light touch to find his waist to begin with, let along anything that might be lost in a fold.
