These leftists seem genuinely surprised at the consequences of their actions.

They will likely do a better job that these leftist teachers do.
Hope they get paid on the same scale as the marxist Teachers .

This might work if they were going to teach Home Economics or Driver’s Education, math and science not so much

So for those keeping score, the Left thinks parents should have zero say in how their children are educated, but it’s perfectly okey dokey if Slappy the Janitor or Marge the Lunch Lady teaches them.

I’m going to bet that the Teacher’s Unions will have no problem with this as long as they can collect the union dues.

Who knew so many math experts were being wasted driving our young scholars to school?

If Whitmer re-purposes bus drivers as teachersIn a normal world, even an idiot would recognizance that the skills, education and training are not interchangeable, but today, why not? Kids would probably be better off with a bus driver as their teacher.

“Michigan House Bill 4294 “will temporarily allow schools to employ an individual without certification who already works at the school to substitute teach through the end of the 2021-2022 school year,”
While I have no use for Whitless, this is a house bill, WTF? This is on the legislature, not whitless.

But, but, the liberals were saying that parents should no longer be allowed to home school their children because only government schools had the ex-spurts to do so.

I used to know a biker gang member who drove a school bus. Hair, leather, beard... he NEVER had any trouble on his route.

Great way to get non-teaching staff to quit. If a substitute teacher is not prepared with detailed teaching material for the entire day the students will make those substitutes miserable with their disrespectful behaviour.

This might work if they were going to teach Home Economics or Driver’s Education, math and science not so muchBased on end of course proficiency scores I have seen, the cafeteria workers will do just as well teaching math and science as the certified teachers.
