Very doubtful. Federal laws, FAA rules and regulations and the airlines are all unusually strict and they don’t give anybody any special consideration (unless you are wealthy, well connected or a politician. She will definitely face federal charges and be banned from flying on that particular airline, and may even be placed on the “No Fly List”.
