In the Spirit of Christmas -- What Do We All Agree On?

I admit it, sometimes I read left-wing blogs to find out what the other side is thinking. Most of it is completely off the rails, but it honestly makes me happy when I can find some areas where we all can agree.

So in the Spirit of Christmas, what else do you think most of America agrees on?

I'll start:

* Most people think it's time to get rid of the penny

The following statement reads the same frontwards and backwards:

A plan

A canal

...and, most importantly,

Jesus was born

Jesus is our heavenly Saviour

Jesus is the Messiah

Jesus is Lord

Jesus is God

Christ came from the majesty of heaven to the misery of earth; from the glory of God to the groaning of men; from the worship of angels to the work of redemption. For unto us a Son is given.

I know it’s hard to believe, but there are pro-life democrats. Not many, but a few.

How would they reconcile that with the other Democratic positions, e.g. pro-homosexual, anti-family, anti-individual-freedom, anti-borders, anti-religion generally, anti-private-property, pro-authoritarianism, ad nauseam?

Very few and none could rise very high in the party ranks if their view became known. Conversely there many more pubs who are pro abort.
