This is our first Christmas without Rush Limbaugh, and for millions of us it is a terrible void.

I miss him, his knowledge, his patriotism and his passion. He was the best.
Every time I think of Rush it still pains me. I miss him every day.
Me too
I never took a shine to any of his replacements, so I pretty much don’t listen to talk radio any more
Recall hearing Mannheim Steamrollers ‘silent night’ at the end of Rush’s last show of the year, usually just before I’d leave work at the half day before the holiday started. Kinda became an annual watermark. I miss it.
Give “The Wilkow Majority” a try. He’s not Rush, but he’s very good and better than all the others trying to fill the void.
I haven’t turned the radio on since. I couldn’t watch any tributes. He was such a good man.
...and his clever, sly wit and bon homie. He truly wanted everybody to do well in life and succeed.
We always knew he was one-of-a-kind. I never expected we would lose him at such a young age. I miss him terribly.
Of 100s of Christmas songs on my thumb drive, that song started playing and it did remind me of Rush.
He was truly great.
Talk radio without him has become like the world according to liberals.....griping, complaining and joyless.
I think about him now and again. I wouldn’t call us friends, but we certainly knew each other.
He was so much different than his persona. Almost a complete flip. Very shy, humble, inquisitive man whenever I was around him.
Every time I think about it I cry. I’m totally lost without Rush......I don’t listen to radio anymore and I appreciate what Buck and Clay are trying to do but I can’t get into their show. I hope in the future EIB will look elsewhere for a replacement....like Todd Herman or our local talent Jesse Kelly who I can’t listen to because of his spot.....at suppertime and coffee time. Heard he’s very good and building a large audience.
“Mannheim Steamroller”
I tend to remember Rush when they are played. He introduced this nation to many things.
The Clay and Buck show today had a substitute host from Texas and the whole 3 hour show was about Rush and callers who were helped by Rush. It ended with the Silent Night segment of Rush giving his last Christmas talk.
I never took a shine to any of his replacements, so I pretty much don’t listen to talk radio any more
I liked Todd Herman out of Seattle (I think) and Ken Matthews out of Philly. They were very good replacements IMHO.

And I missed it. It was a local talk show host Michael Berry (who I can’t stand) doing a tribute to Rush. The little I heard of it before it was over brought the tears and I still cry when I think of Rush not being here. Even though I don’t listen to Berry, I thank him for doing this. I wish I had known. You ever thank God that you lived to see greatness before your eyes?.....I do and Billy Graham, Rush Limbaugh, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump are my greatest heroes.
