According to a posting on CitizenFreePress he also announced that he and his wife are divorcing. Apparently he being in congress has put irreparable strain on the marriage. He chose congress over her; she chose divorce over him.
Uh no. He has to be 35. He only 26 now.

Let me make another analogy with the percentage. Let’s say our soul is intact and pure at 100%. You commit one small sin, let’s say the common “having marital relations before marriage” in today’s culture. With ignorance of the full content and you agree with that one tiny sin, your makeup is at the 99.9999999% mark. However you fluctuate through the years, that tiniest of sin will be a mark against you into the pit with the other sinners. With Yeshua, however, you will be reborn and have an intact 100% soul again.
Madison claims he has a good relation with Jesus Christ, but then remains in politics...perhaps you need to have a good relation with the Father through Christ Yeshua; save your marriage and do things in your control. While I agree with your premise on college loans, you went to (and dropped out of) a Christian college. I went to Liberty as a dual-serviced veteran, originally in Theological Studies, but graduated in Behavioral Sciences, Computational Sciences, and Counseling. Waste of time, Madison?

Wrong! We want our kids and grandkids to be absolutely as successful as possible. Do NOT send your kids to be indoctrinated at the so called "institutions of higher education." It's a scam and a rip off.
Send them to get degrees in the hard sciences or trades where they can learn a skill. Our children are being dumbed down and prepared only to be serfs.
I agree with Cawthorn on the let them get degrees in engineering and medicine, but the last thing we need is more lawyers.
By all means, home school if you can. The kids are not getting educated now in the public schools. They are being dumbed down to the max and most parents don't know or don't care.
It's not. Unfortunately, a great many jobs today require a college degree, even if it's in basketweaving as long as you have a diploma. Pretty much every white-collar job. This didn't used to be the case.

Well, no - that’s GOD’s job. Christians don’t save anybody, we give people the opportunity to know Christ and his saving power. Critical difference, and sloppy language like this doesn’t help.
We need to support (and yes, even with my tax dollars if necessary) TRADE schools.
I have nothing against people studying English poetry, ancient history, or political science, but investing in the next generation of welders, plumbers, mechanics, draftsmen, linemen, heavy equipment operators, and truckers is a use of tax dollars that will actually repay us- both in terms of lower unemployment and a healthier economy.
It would be better to have low-interest loans, because kids learning an actual marketable skill are going to pay that loan off really quickly compared to the poor idiot with a $150K aboriginal basket weaving PhD, but I’d rather we put 100K more mechanics and plumbers and electricians into the field than 100K soldiers or welfare workers.
It’s not what you major in; it’s what you know how to do. For instance, Art majors are taught how to weld.
Two years after I graduated with a BIT degree, no one cared about my major.

I got a great liberal arts education (History). It was academically rigorous, teachers did not push their own viewpoints in class and worth the cost. It was only after the end of the semester that I would discuss current events with the professors and most would talk about anything. To be sure, most had liberal leanings, but it never came through in the choice of reading assignments, lectures, etc. Maybe I was lucky.
I get more politics in class for the graduate courses I take in environmental science, policy, etc. And mostly from other students.
Do both. Study many subjects. Also learn how to fix things so as not to be dependant on professionals all the time. Try not to support “victim” studies and don’t go to schools which have majors in that. But I agree with Cawthorn on many things, as reported in the article, but not all. He sounds pretty solid overall.
