A paragraph that puts to shame the January 6 Select Committee of the House of Representatives
American Thinker ^ | 23 Dec, 2021 | David Zukerman

Lt. General Michael Flynn has filed a complaint against Speaker Pelosi and her Select Committee along the lines of the complaint already filed by former White House Counsel Mark Meadows, but with an important difference.

Like the Meadows complaint, Gen. Flynn points out that the committee was not organized in accordance with the provision of the authorizing resolution, H. Res. 503. Where the resolution called for 13 members, the Pelosi panel has only 9 members. Where the resolution called for five members of the minority appointed in consultation with the minority leader, the committee has two members of the minority, selected by the Speaker without consultation with the minority leader. The authorizing resolution called for a ranking member; the committee has no ranking member. And as the Meadows complaint alleges, the Flynn complaint alleges that the subpoenas issued by the committee serve no valid legislative purpose.

In pertinent part, the Flynn complaint, as does the Meadows complaint, calls on the court, in this case the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Ft. Myers Division, to declare unenforceable the subpoena issued by the Select Committee on Lt. General Flynn.

There is, however, a marked difference in paragraph 3 of the Flynn complaint, compared with the opening paragraphs in the Meadows complaint, and I believe the words in this paragraph demand the immediate attention of the United States Congress, the media, and, of course the readers of American Thinker, for this paragraph makes clear that all those who incessantly apply the terms "false" and "baseless" to expressions of concern about the conduct of the 2020 presidential election are traducing the very concept of free speech and expression in America, and would impose the notion of unfreedom upon. a people who view liberty as a God-given right,

The entire persecution by corrupt politicians of US citizens who exercised their God given and Constitution acknowledged right to peaceably assemble on January 6 is as great a crime as any ever perpetrated, including segregation and the offences of which George III was guilty.

Jordan was supposed to be on the committee but Nancy said NO

Now they’re wanting to subpoena him

Guarantee that Schitt is behind all of this and he wrote the script for it last summer

Pelosi and Dems Plan Day of ‘Solemn Observance’ and a ‘Prayer Vigil’ for January 6

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to Democratic lawmakers on Monday detailing “a full program of events” to remember the January 6 riot in the Capitol.

What happened that day isn’t really in dispute. A couple of hundred people breached the Capitol and behaved like idiots. But if what occurred that day was an “insurrection,” it will surely go down in history as the most comical and futile attempt to overthrow a government in history — more ludicrous than the Beer Hall Putsch in 1923.

This begs the question: Why do the Democrats feel they have to portray the events that day as a “rebellion” or a “revolt” when the chances were less than zero that the election results could be overturned? It was a riot, nothing more.

It’s all about the narrative, of course. It doesn’t matter that there wasn’t a serious plot to actually overthrow the government. That’s beside the point. If a bunch of drunken Oath Keepers, QAnon kooks, and Proud Boy mouth-breathers conspired in their little fantasyland to keep Trump in power, how is that relevant to national security?

Ah ... BUT! The Amendment - written immediately after the Civil War) clearly calls for throwing (forcibly ejecting) members of their House who have engaged in an “Insurrection” against the government.

If the democrat-social-communists can get ANY form of condemnation written out of this “committee” with the word “Insurrection” in it, then they can use it to purge the HOuse of their enemies. (Conservative Christians.)

The same people who bleat that there is no evidence of vote fraud in the 2020 elections are the same people who claimed there was solid evidence of Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 elections.

Chew on that.

They are deposing Jordan because they do not want him to be in a position of leadership when congress goes back to the Republicans. This is to tarnish him.

We lack the courage to storm the Bastille. Plus the Masters make being a slave too comfortable. Other excuses are made. But that is the plain unvarnished truth that the sheep do not wish to face.

“At the times relevant herein, General Flynn was and is a private citizen. Like many Americans in late 2020, and to this day, General Flynn has sincerely held concerns about the integrity of the 2020 election. It is now a crime to hold such beliefs, regardless of whether they are correct or mistaken, to discuss them with others, to associate with those who share the same belief, or to ask the government to address such political concerns. Indeed, it is our fundamental Constitutional right to speak about and associate around political issues that concern us, and to petition our government about this grievances. See U.S. Const. Amen. I.”
