Donald Trump on Tuesday evening said he was 'very appreciative' of President Joe Biden paying tribute to his administration's efforts to create the vaccine - adding that he was 'surprised to hear it'.
'Thanks to the prior administration and our scientific community, America is one of the first countries to get the vaccine,' said Biden. ...
...The 75-year-old - who on Sunday was booed when he confirmed he had had the booster shot - said Americans should be 'really happy' about having access to vaccines.
'When we came up with these incredible vaccines - three of them - and therapeutics, we did a tremendous job, and we should never disparage them,' Trump said.
'We should be really happy about it because we've all saved millions and millions of lives all over the world.'
Trump in May 2020 announced Operation Warp Speed (OWS) - a partnership between the Departments of Health and Human Services and Defense - aimed to help accelerate the development of a COVID-19 vaccine.
OWS has invested an estimated $18 billion, mostly in the late-stage clinical development and early manufacturing of COVID-19 vaccines, and has agreements in place to buy 455 million doses.
The scheme is by far the largest of the global efforts for development of COVID-19 vaccines....
...Trump in December 2020 also signed an executive order that would ensure all Americans had access to coronavirus vaccines before the U.S. government could begin aiding nations around the world.

I can't help but wonder if this is bleedover from the Biden/Harris tiff, tho - Harris having given a speech about how the current admin was so great on the pandemic and here's Biden on a national address giving credit to the previous admin.
Either way, it's a triumphant Trump legacy and we'll take it.
Beware of Greeks bearing gifts.
Tag Joe, yer it.
Biden wants to pull Trump back into the conversation on this one issue. He wants to be able to say “Hey, I didn’t set this up, Trump did. Ask him yourself!”
Flattery has always been Trump’s Achilles heel. He should tell Dementia Joe and whomever is writing his teleprompter speeches to shove it.
In before FR’s vax kooks arrive to bash Trump.
Yes, can’t help but think it’s a set up of some kind.
Exactly.
To me, this is them starting to set him up.
President Trump, these are YOUR vaccines. YOU’RE responsible for these things. How nice of you to put something on the market that is killing folks.
Thank you for allowing us to hold Congress in ‘22, actually increased our numbers a bit and we’re probably a lock for the White House in ‘24. Preciate ya
And when the vaccinated start paying a price for these shots, look for the entire narrative to shift blame to Warp Speed and President Trump.
Women, yellow bellied catfish, and Trump can’t keep their mouths shut.
Yep. When the dangers become more widely known then he will blame it on Trump and act like he (Biden) didn’t try to force it on everyone like the dictator he is. Every motive of these people should be questioned always.
Yes, there is no such thing as natural immunity, and the vaccines give total protection against omicron, just ask Cramer, the New York Health Commissioner, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Larry Hogan, Jason Crow, Rafael Nadal, and a whole lot of others.
Oh yeah, Let's go Pelham!
Maybe that’s what prompted this move of a Chess Piece.
It’s high time to have an open discussion of Vax maker liability. There have simply been too many deaths and ‘rare’ side effects to ignore the connection any longer.
Trump knows that the ‘vaccine’ hoax is coming to an end and they are preparing to blame him. There’s no way those Deep Staters are simply praising him, after framing him over and over again.
The emperor has no clothes, the Plandemic is falling apart and they want to pin it on Trump.
this is not a good thing
its like being thanked by hitler for helping out with drafting and putting the foundation in place for “the final solution”
I’ve never endorsed any of that but feel free to lie and give people the impression that I do. You be you, fella.
Are you suggesting that sometime in the future we will have to pay for the vaccine? I wonder how far that cost will go up?
Without insurance cost of a flu shot will depend on where you go and the kind of shot you need, but it typically ranges from $20 to $75 out of pocket. The Flu-Fluarix2 vaccination at Walgreen is $40.99. My water bill is about that much.
Did Trump order vax mandates? Or is that just you making up “facts”?
My wife and I have been bombarded recently by a series of sudden deaths (and one near-death) of friends and acquaintances. One was an airline pilot with United, who despite being required to pass a first-class medical every six months just suddenly had a heart attack and died in his sleep. Another was a young mother of our granddaughter’s best friend from elementary school. They found her dead one morning, a death that happened so suddenly that she was apparently standing at the time and fell into the bedroom closet as a result. Yet another was a coworker’s mother, who had a sudden stroke and only survived because her daughter just happened to be picking her up for dinner as it was occurring, and was able to get her to the hospital quickly where TPA was administered to dissolve the clot. And there were two others that were similar, found dead by relatives after appearing completely healthy the night before. None had serious pre-existing conditions, most were relatively young to middle-aged (other than the co-worker’s mother), and ALL had been “fully vaxxed.”
Make of that what you will, but I’ve never seen anything remotely like this, and it just keeps happening.
