Stephanie Lontz came to the rescue earlier this month for 19-year-old Lauren. As you can see in the Ring Camera video ... Lauren began screaming for help with her dog in her arms, as the larger dog was biting and lunging at them.
After several terrifying seconds, they were only able to escape safely into the house, thanks to Stephanie, who ran from her delivery van and got in between Lauren and the pit bull.
The Amazon driver..told the local NBC TV station, "I wouldn't even think it's motherly, it's just the human thing to do."
Though Lontz saved Lauren's day, she says Amazon workers go through so much on a normal basis that this sort of thing was not unusual for her. In fact, she says she herself was bitten by a dog 2 days prior to this incident.

Does not seem like the white dog wanted to de-escalate what it started and it’s hard for any dog to deal with an overt dominance/aggression move.
Brown dog’s lowered head/body/tail sniff ‘n greet was met with a stiff body/tail/erect head challenge posture.
Doesn’t matter.
Some will only see what they want to see, rather than what’s happening.
Far too many unsocialized doggies out there. I have a friend that had an unsocialized pittie. At about seven months, he decided he was gonna take on Nemo. So he did. Nemo grabbed his neck and threw him to the ground. Duly chastised the pup went back to playing. For about 20 minutes. Then he tried again. Same result. Nemo wouldn’t hurt him. because he was a pup, but he didn’t tolerate his crap, either.
Tnks, I didn’t remember that.
