those names deserve the death penalty.
Japan in WW II is the definition of ghastly.
“Two death-row inmates recently filed a lawsuit against the government saying the system causes psychological distress and seeking compensation over mental suffering from living in uncertainty until the last day of their lives.”
Actually, doing this sounds like a great idea.
Japan has few crime problems. Perhaps we should take notes.
“Two death-row inmates recently filed a lawsuit against the government saying the system causes psychological distress”
That’s debatable. Is it more psychological distress to know for days or weeks or months you will definitely be executed on x date, or to only know that the actual day of execution. I think which is worse is not objectively certain either way.
I get sick and tired of hearing about how a country is uncivilized because they get rid of the evil in their country.
Geee they hanged them. Didn’t have to toy with the right batch of chemicals to make sure their death was comfortable. How do you like that? I know I do. Firing squad works too. Or perhaps beheading.
Tomoaki Takanezawa.......convicted in the 2003 killings of two pinball parlor employees.

Tommy?
I like that. Sort of like how their victims were treated.
***saying the system causes psychological distress***
Perhaps they should go to the Dean Martin method in ROUGH NIGHT IN JERICHO.
“Lock him up. We’ll hang him tomorrow right after the trial.”
To hear the MSM tell it, the United States is pretty much the only civilized country in the world that still imposes capital punishment on the poor, misunderstood, probably innocent death row downtrodden.
So those of us NOT on death row suffer psychological trauma not knowing the day we will die? :-) lol
"Our victims don't have to suffer like that," they continued. I don't think anyone bought it.
