Kamala Harris was slammed on Monday, December 13, after her interview was published by the San Francisco Chronicle. Most readers considered it a pointless puff piece in which she explained the meaning behind the decorations in her office.
The outlet, which is based in her hometown of San Francisco, shared the article on Twitter on Sunday, December 12, with the caption, "Kamala Harris has redecorated the VP’s office. Here’s the meaning behind her choices." The interview was published in several portions through the weekend and contained no mention of any of her policy positions or responses to reports including multiple staffers announcing their departure from her office. However, there were seven paragraphs detailing Harris's choice of artworks and some family photographs.

I hate to defend Harris, but sometimes POTUSes and VEEPs have puff pieces written about them. And why bring up her not going to the border? It is the policy of whomever is running the Biden administration to leave the border wide open. What does anyone expect to happen if she goes down there? If she goes, and does nothing, she looks feckless (which she is). If she goes and decides to close the border (which would never happen), she will be running counter to what Biden (or his handlers) want. The open door policy of allowing untested unvaccinated illegals to stream in is what the Biden administration wants.

Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar said that he’s done trying to work with Vice President Kamala Harris on border issues.
‘I say this very respectfully to her: I moved on,’ Cuellar told The New York Times. ‘She was tasked with that job, it doesn’t look like she’s very interested in this, so we are going to move on to other folks that work on this issue.’
Cuellar’s gripes originated when Harris said she’d be visiting the border in June and a phone call from his office to hers went unreturned.
