SHOT cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ father yesterday accused Alec Baldwin of being at least “partially responsible”.
Anatoly Androsovych, 61, said he did not understand Baldwin’s claim he killed his daughter in a film blunder “without pulling the trigger”.
The distraught dad — who had initially refused to condemn Baldwin, 63 — now insists he must take some of the blame for the death of Halyna, 42, in October.
And he spoke of his concern that the Mission: Impossible star deleted tweets sent in the wake of the horror.
Ukrainian Anatoly — who served as a submarine captain — told The Sun: “I can’t understand the behaviour of Alec.
"Why did he sweep out his tweets when it became clear the shooting was on rehearsal?
“And why did he fire the shot during the preparations? The revolver is the type of gun which doesn’t shoot before the trigger is pressed and Alec is partially guilty for causing that shot.
“It is clear to me Baldwin fired the shot from his hand so it’s hard for me to understand how he cannot be held partly responsible for my daughter’s death.”
Anatoly said he was not sure if his grandson Andros, nine — who Halyna had with American lawyer husband Matthew — would “ever fully recover”.
He said: “Andros is slowly getting back to life, but this is huge blow for all of us.”

Unless somebody had been assigned as a final check, Alec was that final check as executive producer. Being EP is not just an extra paycheck. The EP’s job is to be the final point of all production aspects of a movie.

If this was not on a movie set and not someone famous, charges would already have been brought - at the very least would be involuntary manslaughter.

In the real world you would be right but this is Holly World, Baldwin walks. The armorer and the AD will be at blame both criminally and civilly.

The script for RUST...which was co-written by Baldwin holds the clues. It is about a man who accidently shoots someone.
Additionally, read that Baldwin asked for a bigger gun. Additionally read that his father was a Marine AND taught riflery. I'm betting that his dad had a nice collection AND Baldwin was instructed again and again by his dad on gun safety.
Baldwin said he was really close to his dad. My thought....he went with his dad to the rifle range.
Baldwin has siblings. Wondering why we haven't heard squat from them and he doesn't seem to mention them. But I'll look harder.

Well, you’re kinda right. I’m guessing what may have happened is; Baldwin, perhaps not familiar with single action revolvers, when he picked up the gun the hammer was down resting on the firing pin. When he picked it up and gripped it he unwittingly squeezed the trigger and continued to hold it pulled back. Then, when prepping for the scene still holding the trigger back he pulled the hammer back to the cocked position. Then, supposedly he was told by someone to release the hammer and when he did so being the trigger was pulled all the way back it struck the firing pin and fired. I own a couple of single actions and this is how you fan one. You can often see this done in old shoot ‘‘em ups of John Wayne, Roy Rogers, etc, era. Just a theory….
SUE him, Anatoly! That freak is worth at least $60M. Take all he’s got.
Still waiting for Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies to charge Baldwin with something more serious than jaywalking. Maybe in another decade, after the investigation has been completed and reviewed....

Now, there may be OTHER people ‘partly responsible’, but that does not diminish Alec Baldwin’s culpability one bit!
HE “dropped the hammer” on a loaded gun pointed at a person and KILLED HER.
Involuntary manslaughter AT THE LEAST!
FIRST DEGREE MURDER a possibility.
Alec is going to JAIL/PRISON. As he should. The only question is for how long. He recklessly KILLED another human being. There is no getting around that undeniable FACT.
I bet he was goofing around and took a shot at her intentionally.
