With all due respect, how can your personal anecdotes be proven or independently verified here on Free Republic? I am posting figures and statistics, not personal stuff that anyone could say or make up that cannot be empirically verified.

On Monday, 380 people were hospitalized in Maine with COVID-19, including 130 in critical care. That’s down from 384 people hospitalized Sunday, with 133 in critical care. The number of patients on ventilators ticked up Monday, from 63 Sunday to 64 Monday.
The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention does not release case counts on weekends, but will update them Tuesday. The CDC reported an additional 11 deaths Monday following a periodic review of death certificates. The deaths occurred between Nov. 12 and Nov. 27.
Most (Maine) hospitalized patients are unvaccinated, and nearly all those in intensive care are not fully vaccinated, according to hospitals and state health officials. The surge continues to be driven by the delta variant, which arrived in Maine during the summer and has swept through areas of the state with lower vaccination rates."

My source of information is from a nurse who was interviewed on “Maine in the Morning,” a radio show airing on WVOM FM in Bangor, Maine, on December 10.
Her interview is on their web site. The link I have is not working. They have something called “Maine Rewind” which has interviews with various guests on their show. Nurse Nixon’s comments about the 44% start 4 minutes and 38 seconds into her interview.
Nurse Emily Nixon RN stated that between November 19 and December 4th 44% of new hospital admission were amongst people who were “vaccinated.”
Nurse Emily Nixon said not to believe everything you hear in the media. Portland is a very liberal area of Maine.
She said of 62 deaths in that time period, 27 were people who had been fully vaccinated.
The National Guard was called into many of the larger Maine hospitals because of the firing of nurses and other medical professionals who would not take the jab, which is required.
Meanwhile, the National Guard soldiers here in Maine are not required to have the jab.
Since the introduction of these so-called vaccines, the numbers in Maine have been exploding.
A year ago, before these “vaccines” were introduced, there were far less than 100 new cases a day in Maine.
One day last week, there were 1,200 new cases. The number of deaths has increased dramatically, too.
I heard they offer Ivermectin in Japan. Not the case in Maine and a lot of other American states.

Just got to Michigan...hospitalizations down 15%.
I have said that Omicron is a Christmas gift from God. We couldn’t get rid of Delta but it completely displaces it in 2-4 weeks. Delta was killing people. Omicron is not.

Without a very ugly mutation from Omicron, this pandemic is over and done. Many scientists are saying that.
That is delta. Check back in a week or two. After Omicron sends delta packing. Omicron is fast! Comes in, cleans house, moves on.
Hospitalizations are decreasing in our state where Omicron has come to visit. And all of this is about to go away where it sticks around for, oh, 3-4 weeks.
Anyway that’s MSM fear porn to get people vaxxed. Why?
Because they are terrified and rightly so that omicron will mutate and add lethality to its bag of tricks- if that happens, because it has an Ro of at least 20 and probably closer to 30, we are all mostly cooked, vaxxed or not.
The world would be fairly devastated. But South Africa has a lot of HIV and it didn’t mutate there. Mutations really get going in immunicompromised infected because of the rapid cycle of reproduction.

I think they are panicking over a possible nasty mutation from Omicron, with its Ro of 20 or higher. If it was able to add lethality to its bag of tricjs, that could be deadly.
We will all get omicron, most of us will be asymptomatic.
There is no lockdown in the world that can keep this baby at bay. Stories from Hong Kong have shown that.
