I take the meatballs you can have the lutefisk. I tasted it once at my relation and that was the first and last time, even so I love fish, but that lutefisk is a different story

My cousin married an ahole from Minnysota with the initials KKK, all their kids were named with Ks, I used to think he was a racist ahole, now I know he’s just a Norwegian ahole :)

Mrs Afterguard and i grew up in NW Minnesota. We’re not Scandinavians but love pretty much everything about Christmas in Minnesota. We left Minnesota more than 50 years ago. I never really liked lutefisk, but i still make lefse every Christmas.

Ah - the smell of Christmas Eve of my childhood. I had a Norwegian uncle who would always bring lutefisk to the party. It smelled up the house terribly! The homemade lefsa was great, though. I liked my Italian aunt’s idea of Christmas Eve food better - homemade lasagna!
