I wish! Unfortunately, it’s “Creeping Charlie” ... I’m pretty positive.
Oh, rats. Hope springs eternal.... Wishing you success with your cC eradication.
my bee balm and holly hocks both seem to want to fall over...it helped to tie my holly hock branches together and I’ll do the same this season with the bee balm....
Oooh, holly hocks ... I’ve always wanted to grow them! How well do they attract pollinators & do hummingbirds like them?
Next year, I need to work out a way I can support and/or tie up flowers. For the giant sunflowers & Tithonias, I have 6’ metal fence posts I used this year, after they blew over in a bad storm that had straight line winds. Next year, I’ll put the posts in when I plant & tie up everything as they grow.
The cosmos & zinnias are a little trickier, but I have some ideas I’m mulling over - by Spring, I should have some details worked out :-)
Please keep Greeneyes in your thoughts and prayers. Looks like surgery for her on Monday. :(

I am in ICU at mo bap, asking for prayers/ cardiac cath showed 80% blockages working on getting lungs better, surgery monday. Third day in. covid test apparently not positive. sorry to ask again so soon.
TIA. ICU is totally full. Accepting no new patients. God helped me get to a good team. I totally had the lights go out - no memory of ride - woke up on way to cath lab. Got to rest now. Will be mostly silent at least a week. But will try to read more often.

Prayers for you .... healing, health & strength/peace while you recover.

Prayers to you, Green Eyes! Get well soon!
Prayer ping to post 46 for FReeper greeneyes.
My friend Greeneyes - I will keep you in my thoughts, and include you in my prayers! You just do the best you can do, and find a peaceful place within to shelter if you feel a little overwhelmed. And don’t let them push you around too much! You got this - and you’ve got TONS of us here to support you.
God Bless, greeneyes....and you’ll be in my morning prayers.
Keep the faith in God/Christ, my FRiend!
Thank you for the heads-up on Greeneyes - will be praying for her surgery on Monday, and also for her hubby, this has got to be a load on his shoulders.
Qiviut; Creeping Charlie. You could water the area to encourage germination and cover it with black plastic. Weight the edges down and hopefully by the time you want to plant most of the weeds will have germinated and died!
I used this on sections of my lawn to kill off areas that were totally infested with Nimble Will, a really ratty crappy grass imposter. The neighbor thought I was nuts (He is a Round up sort of guy) but I tilled and raked and put some zoysia in it, it filled in and he was impressed with the result.

Thank you Liz! Delicious!
I actually like apricots better as preserves/jam than as fresh fruit! (Good as glaze too!)
Heartfelt prayers for a full, uneventful recovery.
Glad you liked the recipe........apricots are my fave.
I found a great YouTube gardening channel...
search YouTube for : The Impatient Gardener
She especially loves Dahlias.
Lots of other topics.
She is from Michigan.
Thanks for the info ... appreciate it!
Greeneyes is one of the most decent people on FR. It’s terrible she has to go through this. Grateful she doesn’t have to endure this with covid. All good thoughts go to her for strength and quick recovery.
