Students at Emory University have been told that their Christmas decorations are a violation of school policy.
According to Campus Reform, members of the school’s Alpha Tau Omega fraternity were told on December 3 that their Christmas wreath hanging in front of their residence was a violation of school policy that would require an incident report....
...Van Inwegen says that ATO is unaware they were following an outdated policy because a Google search directed students to an old set of rules that did not mention Christmas decorations.
"There are no lights, decoration hung on light fixtures, or any other conceivable violation under rule 1.21 and 1.21.1 that we know of," Van Inwegen said. "[We] are totally confused as to what rules we violated."...

If it isnt university housing the school can go eff themselves on a festivus pole.
Not sure.
At some schools, the houses are owned by the univ, at some just the land (leased), and others are totally privately owned.
I would change out the front door to a new one, where a wreath was carved into it as part of the door.
Ok, anyone who builds doors or wood products, thats a million dollar idea here.
That is why I started the sentence with “If”
Im sure a fag flag or an Isis flag is OK ...
Absolutely pathetic.
How much more is God going to put up with before He pulls the plug on America. We’ve gone stark raving mad in this country with churches being lukewarm. Reprobates are on every corner.

How far they fall
“At some schools, the houses are owned by the univ, at some just the land (leased), and others are totally privately owned.”
I was in a frat at Michigan in the 70’s. We owned (actually still own) our house lock, stock, and barrel. It was great. UofM could not touch us. We ignored them and they ignored us. That is the way it should be.
They told us that the secret frat system got started when men wanted to discuss topic that were forbidden on campus. Later, when the universities relaxed a bit, frats became social clubs. I would not be surprised to hear that new organizations have sprung up to serve that purpose that frats were originally conceived for.
A Christmas decoration prohibited at a college founded by Christian church and named after a Methodist bishop?
Come on, Emory. Get real!!!
My most useful knowledge was acquired in a Catholic grade school. A Catholic high school imparted the second most basic set of knowledge required in my career.
College, thought in those days to be essential, was worthless.
. However my military experience taught me how to lead.
That would not have worked at my fraternity...
NO WAY!
Of course we were on probation most of the time I ‘lived-in’ — no biggie!
