In a small Indian village, a pack of murderous monkeys have started a war with the local canines.
Around 250 dogs have been dragged to the tops of buildings and trees and dropped by a crew of raging primates that are apparently furious with the pups after they killed one of their babies, local media reported.
Locals in Maharashtra’s Beed district, about 300 miles east of Mumbai, told News 18 the monkeys have been on a quest for revenge and in the nearby Lavool village, not a single dog has survived the purge.
Villagers told the outlet the killings started about a month ago when a few dogs killed an infant monkey and since then, the moment a dog is spotted, simians are apparently snatching up the pups and dragging them somewhere high to drop them to their deaths.
In one image of the animal war, a tiny dog can be seen in the clutches of a primate near the edge of a building.
The villagers decided to take action themselves and tried to wrangle up the beasts, but the simians then turned their sights on the local men, some of whom have been injured after falling from buildings while trying to save the dogs, the outlet said.
Nearly all of the pups in the Beed district have been killed, but the monkeys still haven’t stopped and are now targeting small children en route to school.

That’s not a monkey. That’s a minky.
I primate not going to visit India after all.
I canine think of a single reason to go.
Wasn't there some type of local monkey (take it easy people) in Vietnam that used to pose a threat to drunk service people as they staggered back to base?
“Just thinking of how much fun you could have in that village in one afternoon with an AR15.”
Yeah, with like some 55 grain HPs in 30 round mags. It would be sweet.
(I have always hated monkeys.)
My son was in Jungle Warfare School way back and those stinking monkeys would follow his unit and throw shit at them all the time. A couple MRE’s and a few Claymores solved that problem.
One of my favorite shows growing up was Lancelot Link. I loved it when the Evolution Revolution came on. Great stuff.
Don’t show the monkeys how the shotgun works.
Apparently there is a long established tradition of using these bigger and faster monkeys to chase macaques off. I guess some of the big stadiums in India hire them.
FReegards
It worked for trunk monkey ;)
That’s amazing. I had no idea. That would be fun to watch. Thanks for that.
That’s the way to do it.
My dad was in India during WW II and he said the GI’s shot tons of pesky/nasty monkeys.
I meant to ping you, but forgot who ran the movie pinglist.
The only thing worse than monkeys are clown monkeys. Fortunately they don’t exist.
Heh.
When I was 16 or so, a friend took me with her family to the zoo in DC.

I took my g.f. to the D.C. zoo in the mid 60s, first date. While watching the monkeys, one of them got as close as he could, faced us and started masturbating furiously. Very embarrassing.
OMG
Hubby alerted me to this story just this morning. I know, late reply.
But, this should be a lesson for all the lib commie fools who think it’s abnormal to react to “others”.
I know, this is different species, but notice how the monkeys DO know what type of beast hurt something of theirs. Is it unfair to go out and assault every one of those “others”? Sure. Is it wrong for them to start recognizing an “other” wronged them”? No. It’s natural.
I remember reading a book on the history of dog fighting.
Something like “The Pitbull: Fact and Fiction.” Apparently there was a guy on the dog fighting circuit that had a little monkey that he would bet people their dogs couldn’t beat. They spotted the monkey a stick. Monkey would get on the dog’s back and bash in their skulls.
“Be afraid!”
