My experience flying has been that the flight crew has been VERY vigilant about the mask being on at ALL TIMES except for “sips and bites” of food and beverages. Once, I had pulled the mask down to blow my nose and before I got the tissue out of my hand so that I could raise the mask the flight attendant admonished me to pull my mask up.

Maxine Waters, although dumb as the rock she crawled out from under, at least knows one fact: Masks to nothing — absolutely nothing — to affect transmission of a respiratory virus. Credit where credit is due.
