My question is: Where are the good people of the Nashville area moving to?

Nashville and Memphis are lopsidedly Democrat so some more Californian immigrants probably won’t make a lot of difference. The state as a whole has been safely Republican in recent elections (including in 2000 when it rejected “native son” Al Gore—who was actually born in DC).
TN has a couple of right right proper senators so at least you are represented. But that Memphis filth Steve Cohen...oy vey!
The liberals poison decent small, God fearing towns!
It is like they have pre set assignments to go into new and often small towns to set up things and slowly move in until they control the small towns.

I’m a very large set up acres wise only two miles due south of Carnton Plantation
the Nashville area is already a mess and they don’t seem to have the transportation grid to really handle all the people as it is....brother lives in Spring Hill....its like a race track to get there from Nashville.
Tennessee property taxes are very LOW....compared to other areas...
