This is the port of Long Beach California. It is the second largest Port in North America, Ahead of the 3rd largest Port of New York, and Behind the largest Port which is the port of los angeles. Roughly 16 million Tons of Cargo pass through this port each year and makes its way to warehouses, factories, and homes, within the United States. This single port which is just 13 square kilometres, is responsible for well over $100 Billion dollars worth of trade and employs over 340 000 people in southern california.
So, it is quite apparent that this port is one of the most vital parts of southern california’s economy. Yet..it is not owned by The town of long beach...California...or even the united states.
You see, in late 1980’s, The port of long beach was sold to a company called Orient Overseas International Limited, which was a company that was based out of hong kong. And at the time, Hong Kong was a British colony and a close economic partner with the United States, so the United States viewed this sale as a win-win,
And for roughly 3 decades, this was a fairly positive relationship between long beach, and the Hong Kong based company.
But then...in 2017 something happened that put an end to this positive relationship. In July of 2017, The Chinese State Run Company, Cosco, ended up purchasing a 75 percent stake the the Orient Overseas International Limited, and became the new owner of the Hong Kong based company, and therefore the owner of the Port of Long Beach.
Now, even though this probably didn’t make the news because shipping is not exactly the most interesting topic to bring up in the mainstream news...it was important enough for the Federal Government to take action.

Ports usually are not sold. They are usually leased to be operated. Chicoms have been doing this for years. LA has a local board. According to their website their job is to keep the water clean. Not moving stuff. So back log.
The local LA commies are probably worse than the CCP.
Golly. It’s as if China owns the politicians in DC and the media covers for the democrats. I remember the outrage about the “Dubai Ports” deal back in Bush’s regime.
Here is a related video concerning the ports

Is this what is causing the problems keeping up at the west coast ports?
Yes and then there’s the apparent missiles in containers that was in the news a week or so ago.
They are going to go to war with the rest of the world?
The moment China wipes out a single African country, it’s world war and I think they know that.
No country is going to war if they wipe out an African country. They wiped out 5 million people worldwide with the Chinese virus and ho hum from world gov’ts.
They took over Tibet and have concentration camps and genociding Muslims and the world is sending their manufacturing to them
73% of U S companies in a survey back in October said they are going to increase their business in China
The Chinese can gamble on that if they want. People have difficulty in conceptualizing the death of the masses, when the number is spread out worldwide. However, if that number was in a singular African country, it would be different because people would have an understanding.
They don’t own it, but they significantly influence it.
Curious Why US News Networks Are Supportive of Chinese Government? Just Look at the Corporate Ownership

The Chinese have to do something with their dollars before the Federal Reserve makes them wallpaper-worthy.
Military members who lived in Panama have been talking about this for dearly 30 years. Hutchison Whampoais now in charge of both entrances to the canal, and it is a Chinese owned company. We sounded the alarm decades ago and nobody responded.
China could never invade the U.S., because the logistics would be a pure nightmare. No army can survive without a steady stream (a river, actually) of Bullets, Boots and Beans, and U.S. Navy submarines would make the Pacific a very dangerous pond to cross.
But what if the supplies are already here, in warehouses stuffed with boxes all marked in Chinese? Look at the cargo ships stalled off the California coast and imagine if just one shipping container out of ten held military supplies bound for some warehouse in Nashville, Peoria or Newark.
Keep your powder dry, folks.
Freeperdom has talked about it since 2000...
Where has this guy been?
With his HUHA?
