CDC is still saying it’s more than 99% Delta variant, but Omicron may be starting to move, ahead of the genome sequencing results from the surveillance program starting to register.
I expect Omicron to take off this month, but it seems so soon, that it might more likely be a seasonal/regional Delta wave.
It's cold up north. So everyone is inside now where it's easier for it to spread.
Over 200 million Americans fully vaccinated (Over 70% of American adults). Over 50 million boosters administered.
Michigan is having a wave now, that is bigger than it had last Winter, or when Delta started. New England is also hot with new cases.
