Jana Duggar has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child in Arkansas - news that comes just one day after her brother Josh was found guilty of child porn charges.
The reality TV star from 19 Kids and Counting, 31, has been charged with the misdemeanor, an Elms Springs District clerk confirmed to DailyMail.com on Friday.
The local county clerk said Duggar was cited on September 9, 2021 but said she wasn't at liberty to say if the charge was connected to Josh.
Jana has entered a plea deal and is expected to appear in the Washington County District Court on January 10, the clerk said. The 31-year-old has no children of her own and is the eldest unmarried Duggar child.
If convicted, she could face 30 to 90 days in jail behind bars or fines.
The news comes one day after her brother Josh, 33, was found guilty of downloading a vile trove of 'the worst of the worst' child porn.
He had been charged with two counts of downloading and possessing child pornography, and faces up to 20 years in prison.
Jana was spotted attending her brother's trial in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Tuesday. She appeared in 'high spirits laughing and mingling with family during breaks, including Josh,' The Sun reported.
Jana is the second child and first daughter of Jim and Michelle Duggar. The 31-year-old still lives with her parents and many of her younger siblings.
The family still lives on the compound where Counting On was filmed for 11 seasons starting in 2015.

I see what you are saying and again I'm shocked it's her that this happened to. Josh? Yes I saw that coming but not this.
Back in the day if your kid, and let's say in this story it was a small child, say under 4 was running about where he or she should not be someone would call the parents and say “your kid is all up in that _________” and the parent would rush down, usually with a switch to get the kid out of that mess.
Nowdays these karens have to call CPS every time they see a kid like this. In this case? With the Duggars and more so about Josh? I see why they called CPS but really the Duggars brought this on themselves.
I believe Jana may have, and I emphasize “may have” made an honest mistake and did not mean to harm children. However I understand the community around them after Josh.
Well, I think we all know, that what we were shown on TV, is an idealized, sanitized version of their family life.
I’m sure Jim Bob had veto power over what would be broadcast. I’m sure that certain events, such as the parents ever yelling at the kids, or discipline, was deleted and never seen by us.
Time will tell. I heard rumor that Jill Duggar and her husband are somewhat estranged from others in the family, and that they may write a book about the family.
I heard also they left the independent Baptist denomination of the Duggars, which is part of the reason for estrangement. They are still devout Christians just not as strict as the Duggars.
Just putting a child within range of Josh Digging, knowingly, could be enough to warrant the charges.
