From the very beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya has been on the front lines of analyzing, studying, and even personally fighting the pandemic. In this wide-ranging interview, Dr. Bhattacharya takes us through how it started, how it spread throughout the world, the efficacy of lockdowns, the development and distribution of the vaccines, and the rise of the Delta variant. He delves into what we got right, what we got wrong, and what we got really wrong. Finally, Dr. Bhattacharya looks to the future and how we will learn to live with COVID rather than trying to extinguish it, and how we might be prepared to deal with another inevitable pandemic that we know will arrive at some point.

Worse, he is a virulent anti-Trumper and frequently denigrates President Trump, often with rude digs and asides.
He's also not a particularly good interviewer as he interjects his viewpoints too often rather than drawing out the interviewee. He sounds like he would be right at home on NPR. Surprisingly for the Hoover Institution, many of his comments are left wing.
All that said, I put up with his crap to listen to his interviews.

I know what they did, took a virus, blew it all out of proportion, got a lot of people killed with Remdesivir, waiting until the lungs were really bad, and putting patients in nursing homes and care facilities. Then we put out a fake vaccine, that kills more people than it saves, and we throw in every single person who died onto the Covid pile.
