I think both sides are liars.
I read the article, NOW I understand why MSN is pushing this story. The guy is not accusing the Guard of not deploying before the protests.
He is basically accusing General Flynn, (Mike Flynn’s brother) and another general of deliberately delaying a national guard deployment to the riot when it was underway.
In other words, this Lt Col (Lawyer) is trying to paint a conspiracy picture that the high level guard leaders were supporting the capitol take over by standing aside when they could help.
He is supporting the narrative of the riot as an “insurrection”. The article is BS.
I read it that way too. Article is crap.
They have no control over the guard if the mayor doesn’t ask for them, and she didn’t. Trump can ask, but cannot force mayors to comply to dispatch the NG. Thats why the riots were allowed to happen during the summer. Always look to the democrap if you want to find out what went wrong.
