The latest figures published by the new UK Health Security Agency on Covid-19 cases, hospitalisations and deaths show that the vaccinated population still accounted for 4 in every 5 Covid-19 deaths over the past four weeks despite the fact that those deemed to be the most vulnerable to Covid-19 had received their “booster” jab.
The ‘Covid-19 Vaccine Surveillance Report – Week 48’ was published by the UK Health Security Agency (formerly Public Health England) on Thursday, 2nd December 2021, and it shows that the vast majority of Covid-19 cases between November 1st and November 28th were among the fully vaccinated population.
The totals number of cases by vaccination status as confirmed by table 8 of the UKHSA Week 48 Vaccine Surveillance report between October 11th and November 7th 2021 were as follows –
This means the vaccinated population accounted for 59% of Covid-19 cases between November 1st and November 28th 2021 , whilst the not-vaccinated population accounted for 41%. However, if we remove under 18’s from the equation, many of whom aren’t eligible to be vaccinated, the figures are far worse for the vaccinated population.
The totals number of cases by vaccination status in everyone over 18 as confirmed by table 3 of the UKHSA Week 48 Vaccine Surveillance report between November 1st and November 28th 2021, were as follows –
This means the over 18 vaccinated population accounted for 84% of Covid-19 cases between November 1st and November 28th 2021, whilst the not-vaccinated population accounted for just 16%.
Unfortunately the latest UKHSA report also shows that despite the booster campaign being well underway, the vast majority of Covid-19 hospitalisations were also among the fully vaccinated population between November 1st and November 28th 2021.
The totals number of hospitalisations by vaccination status for all age groups between November 1st and November 28th 2021, as confirmed by table 9 of the UKHSA report were as follows –
This means the vaccinated population accounted for 64% of Covid-19 hospitalisations between November 1st and November 28th 2021, whilst the not-vaccinated accounted for just 36%.
But yet again the difference between the vaccinated and unvaccinated gets much worse when it comes to deaths allegedly related to Covid-19.
The totals number of alleged Covid-19 deaths by vaccination status between November 1st and November 28th 2021, as confirmed by table 5 of the UKHSA report were as follows –
This means the vaccinated population accounted for 80% of Covid-19 deaths between November 1st and November 28th 2021, whilst the not-vaccinated accounted for just 20%.
With the vaccinated population accounting for 6 in every 10 Covid-19 cases, 6 in every 10 Covid-19 hospitalisations, and 8 in every 10 Covid-19 deaths, is there really any justification for the talk that has now started in the mainstream media around mandatory vaccinations in the UK, following the lead of Austria, Greece, Germany, and soon enough France?
Is there any justification for the vaccine passports that have been imposed in Scotland and Wales, and that will no doubt be introduced across England by the turn of the year?
Is there any justification for restrictions being placed on the unvaccinated population, just as they were in Austria, are to be in Australia within days, and will be in Germany at the turn of the year?

That’s great but cruising never appealed to me though when I was a young wolf man and at sea way out in small craft 37-50 foot in storms and rollers I’d see cruise ships sailing the lanes in and out of the Caribbean and various passages like The Yuck or Mona or Windward and think man I bet they are warm and dry ...unliked soaked and cold me having been strapped in the cockpit for three hours in the sort of gale where you find fish all over the deck at dawn

Usually ships pilot or radio man would talk to us asking if we were ok....it was at times really heavy weather like 80-90 knot gusts even hit 100 knots plus once in the Yuck which is messed up water anyhow ....huge mountains of inky water topped with spray spray spray ...
I know it’s weird looking back but that’s always been my perspective of cruise ships....freighters which I owned once I was familiar with ....but cruise ships...seemed exotic and very comfortable and secure at times compared to where we were being slammed about skiing down rollers

If I were to cruise some of the smaller boutique experiences like the big med sail craft seem nice as would certain barges in Europe etc but I’d hate to me just another oldster ....I’ve been told European barge trips are for the old

We do go fish Chandeleur in the gulf off Mississippi coast and I promised my boys one Venice Louisiana trip for the big frogs off the rigs...but it’s a multi day sleep aboard trip

This repeated posting by ransomenote is pathetic. Read the U.K. report - it says 98 percent of the adult population has antibodies and 69 percent are vaccinated. Where did the 29 percent who are not vaccinated but have antibodies get those antibodies from? DUH they had Covid already. The fact that unvaccinated are getting less Covid is because 95 percent of the unvaccinated already had Covid so they are immune . In the U.K. you can get a Covid passport if you had Covid and are unvaccinated. That’s because people in the U.K. are smart. Ransom note ? Not so much. But he she or it has plenty of time to post the same nonsense every day.
My experience and opinion: at some point, almost everyone will experience some covid (many will not even notice so never test) and the shots don’t really do much to prevent transmission. Bad thing is it seems to impact some much more than others but if you are healthy and under 80, the odds are overwhelmingly in your favor. I personally know around sixty people that have had it. Everyone I know that has gotten it since April 2021 has had the shot. I have friends that were recluses throughout this. Ten of them gathered last week for a “vaccinated thanksgiving” and four of them have it this week.
Fortunate to live in a free state that didn’t shut down or mandate masks. I know more people that have had it than have not. Apart from the week in 2020 I was home with covid (and only being able to attend high school events in fall 2020) the past eighteen months weren’t all that different for me. Go in to work, play team sports 2x a week, eat in restaurants and stay in hotels, attend church and travel. Got the jab in March because of international travel— and believing at the time it was a good idea. I have no intention of any booster. Get the shot or don’t— whatever works for you— but it isn’t a silver bullet.
I’ve flown commercially ten times this year (sucks even more than it used to) and been in crowds of up to 60k+ indoors and stadiums in different states without masks or shot proof. People undoubtedly had it in those crowds and passed it to others. Some of those are probably sick and others didn’t notice. There certainly weren’t bodies piled up in the parking lot. I really don’t think it’s about “safety” any longer and that we’ve just delayed the inevitable.
Yet the “smart people” in charge keep pushing the jab for everyone, including the recovered.
So why bother with a vaccine or boosters and their possible side effects? They aren’t doing much good. Do everything you can to boost your immune system naturally instead.

BTW, Wherever we go, we still do end up cooking for ourselves, lol. Is that a bad thing? My husband’s cooking beats any 5-star restaurant, any day. He can do amazing things with his Big Green Egg 😁

AMSTERDAM, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Dutch health authorities on Thursday said most of the 62 people who tested positive for COVID-19 after arriving on two flights from South Africa last week had been vaccinated, lending weight to a call for pre-flight testing regardless of vaccination status.
In addition, all 14 passengers who were later found to have been infected with the Omicron variant were vaccinated, health officials said on Thursday.
A spokesperson for the Netherlands’ Institute for Health (RIVM) confirmed on Thursday that this included all of the passengers with Omicron.
THE HAGUE, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Dutch health authorities said on Saturday the final tally of passengers on two flights from South Africa last week who had tested positive for the Omicron coronavirus variant was 18.
The Netherlands’ Institute for Health (RIVM) added in a statement that its investigation on passengers on the two flights has now been wrapped up.
Under rules in place at the time, more than 600 passengers were able to board the KLM airline flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town on Nov. 26 with either proof of vaccination or recent negative COVID-19 test results.
A spokesman for the health authority for Kennemerland, in which Schiphol airport is situated, said “around 90%” of those that tested positive were vaccinated.
