In a move that everyone saw coming, far-left radical Democrat Stacey Abrams announced this week that she was once again running for governor in Georgia, in the 2022 election.
Having come within inches of being elected governor in 2018, there is one thing abundantly clear for next year: If Vernon Jones isn’t the Republican candidate, Stacey Abrams will be Georgia's next governor.

I'm only worried Herschel will fall on his face and take our Governor candidate with him.
Has Jones been endorsed by Trump?
Don’t know. Who’s left?
Kemp as far as I know.
Then we lose.
I’m gonna vote for Vernon in the GOP Primary and I’ll be voting for Herschel (who will win) in the General Election.
There are enough ticked off Georgians to put Kemp out of the running in the Primary if there isn’t a whole slate of primary candidates.
While I am a fan of Jones, I am not generally a fan of “the only one who can” statements. There are other factors (see Virginia) that influence elections. Meanwhile, I’ll contribute to Jones and to Walker and might even make a campaign trip to Georgia next fall.
*I am not generally a fan of “the only one who can” statements.*
Buckley rule applies.(The most conservative who can win)
Isn’t that how so many RepubliCANTs get elected?
Vernon Jones is just another problematic RINO. Eclipsed only by our current criminal governor Brian Kemp. The worthy candidate in the 2022 governor’s race is Kandiss Taylor.
In the Georgia Republican races, people are falling over themselves to say they LOVE Trump.
But how many of these candidates are genuine. Kemp and Rattsenberger are as corrupt as they come.
I saw Vernon Jones speak a few months back, and he’s a good speaker and has some management background, he ran the government of DeKalb county for a few years.
But I also scratched my head when he pushed the fact that he’s black — and therefore can beat Abrams. Something about emphasizing that doesn’t ring true.
I believe Trump is favoring David Perdue, but Perdue hasn’t announced yet.
Whoever Trump chooses, I’ll support.
So a 50,000 vote difference in a statewide race = “come within inches of being elected”????? What a steaming pile....
Stew Peters has been exposing the bones that are rattling in Jones’s closet. Abrams will be making hay with his history.
I agree. We live in N Hall. No one here wants Kemp back. Numerous Vernon J signs already.
I am going to do the same thing.
I’m gonna vote for Vernon in the GOP Primary and I’ll be voting for Herschel (who will win) in the General Election.

Just asking sincerely - how Conservative is Jones really, given that he’s a converted Democrat?
Where is he on 2A, abortion, immigration, election reform, China, government growth, etc?
Vernon Jones knows how to fight the voting machine algorithms?
Kandis doesn’t stand a chance. I like her position, but she is so lackluster she will only divide the R vote, thus insuring an Abrams win. The next governor of GA will undoubtedly be black. Blacks tend to vote black. Ain’t no denying demographics.
Ol’ Vernon is a corrupt lifelong Dem.
The GOP faithful apparently is falling for this crap all over the place (while the GOPe/uniparty is playing games per usual).
In Ohio, the “Ohio Value Voters” is pushing a lifelong Dem pol who ran (and lost) as late as 2018 for the crowded Senate primary. This pol, Neil Patel, shamelessly offers Joe Manchin as his model. His campaign website doesn’t state a single position.
Then of course there is Dr. Oz apparently entering the GOP Senate primary in PA.
For a moment there, my brain was saying “Van Jones.”
Stranger things have happened.
