I am no fan of the Kennedy’s and there is much I disagree with RFK Jr about.

However, the man has written one of the most important books that I have read (and I read a lot) in the last decade.

Point blank. Dismiss him because of his name and politics if you wish, but he has done all of us a big favor in writing this. He is credible, meticulous, and fearless.

Our public health system has failed. Like much of DC it is been horribly corrupted by the very industry it is supposed to regulate and our public health is far worse for it.

Fauci started in NIH in 1968. 6% of Americans had a “chronic disease”. In 2006, 54% of Americans have a chronic disease. There is a foul stench in the agencies we pay to make us more healthy.

30 years ago I believed that the future of medicine would be “wellness” or preventative medicine. Nothing more fancy than having a doctor trained to monitor your health and risk factors and tweak things here and there through supplements (vit D, zinc, iron, etc) and health surveillance for diseases you might be at risk from (genetically or environmentally or physiologically). I was convinced this was the future of medicine and frankly with today’s technology and computing along with the ability for home monitoring it would be incredibly effective.

It never happened despite the obvious fact that it made economic sense (lower the cost of healthcare by prevention and early interdiction of disease) and it was the right thing to do (improve quality of life).

Why?

This book is the best answer I have ever found to one of the most pressing questions of my life. Like so many things you can follow the $$$$$.

I cannot recommend this book enough.

I finally broke down and bought a kindle and the book was 2.99 on Amazon.

It was a good purchase. My eyes are not what they used to be and the ability to make fonts larger has made reading enjoyable again!

Why?

Remember when we had the best health system in the world and it was fixed with Obamacare..................

Yeah I saw this a while back. Really worthwhile. It makes you want to get the book as long as Kennedy is not reading the audio version.

Watched the bitchute. More annoying than the speech impediment is a reverberation in the audio, as if listening through a hose.

The substance covered, however, is more than adequate to overcome any speech/audio issues. Fauci and followers are worse than a virus.

Obamacare is a disaster, but there is a larger disaster in our healthcare system. I have not checked the figure in a long time, but I am pretty sure we spend less than 5% of our healthcare dollars on preventative medicine.

Step back and think about it....

There are so many diseases, ailments, chronic conditions, etc, that could be prevented or mitigated simply by making sure a person has sufficient levels of iron or vitamins or minerals, etc etc.

Real prevention. Longer and healthier lives and less drastic need for major healthcare intervention.

There is no money in making you “well”. The money is in treating you when you are not well with pharmaceuticals or surgery or therapy. The whole system is oriented towards treating you when your body runs off the road instead of helping you stay on the road (health). It pays better.

I, too, have marvelled at how many chronic diseases have popped up over the decades. Peanut allergies, for example, were never a thing until I was well over 40 years old. Kennedy seems to have suspicions dating to the late 80’s when vaccines were given a green light in terms of prosecutorial immunity.

JFK’s mother was Jackie. And JFK, Jr., did seem more the style of GOP than RAT.

“JFK’s mother was Jackie”

Do you mean that in the Freudian sense?
Sort of like Mike Pence is known to refer to his wife Karen
as “Mother” from time to time?

The Kennedy family is on the outside looking in when it comes to having any influence in DC. Like the Bush family, the Kennedys are playing whatever card they need to play to get back into power and do even more damage to this country. It's nice that Robert wrote a book trashing Fauci, but Ol' Teddy is largely responsible for the mess that our healthcare system has become.

“His book is still unavailable on Amazon”

My spouse downloaded the Kindle edition of the book a week ago from Amazon for $2.99 and is reading the book on an iPad. Says it it excellent.

I'm glad he is taking down Fauci, but Kennedy is a nutter, like the rest of his family. He is wrong on almost everything, so be careful.

I agree, but even a blind squirrel can find a nut every now and then.

The man has written the best explanation for how off the rails our public health bureaucracy has become. It is pure corruption. Peter Navarro thought he had nailed Fauci with his White House Insider book (which was interesting by the way) but he cannot hold a candle to what Kennedy just wrote.

It damns the whole system. I will freely admit that I have rethought a lot of long-held beliefs this last year when it comes to health issues. What we were doing prior to this pandemic and certainly since is nothing less than insane.

Fauci’s two-decade strategy of promoting false pandemics as a scheme for promoting novel vaccines, drugs and Pharma profits.

More annoying than the speech impediment .....

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Here’s the deal on RFK Jr’s voice:

RFK Jr. Voice: Spasmodic Dysphonia Is A Neurological Disorder That Affects Voice Box
https://www.ibtimes.com/rfk-jr-voice-spasmodic-dysphonia-neurological-disorder-affects-voice-box-2564274

Excerpt from link:

But what many people took away from the interview was the trembling of Kennedy’s voice, which made him sound like he was on the verge of tears.

He reportedly has a condition called spasmodic dysphonia, a neurological condition that the U.S. National Institutes of Health say affects muscles in the larynx, also known as the voice box.

“When we speak, air from the lungs is pushed between two elastic structures — called vocal folds or vocal cords — with sufficient pressure to cause them to vibrate, producing voice,” the organization says. “In spasmodic dysphonia, the muscles inside the vocal folds experience sudden involuntary movements — called spasms — which interfere with the ability of the folds to vibrate and produce voice.” Sometimes those spasms occur on every other word.

People with the condition may sound like their voices are hoarse, shaky or otherwise strained, perhaps mimicking the sound of a person choking back tears while speaking.

According to the NIH, the disorder is rare and usually starts appearing when a person is between 30 and 50 years old. “Symptoms of spasmodic dysphonia generally develop gradually and with no obvious explanation.”

This also coincided with the food pyramid and the famous study paid for by the sugar industry that blamed fat for being fat. This lead to sugar in everything.

Ol' Teddy is largely responsible for the mess that our healthcare system has become.

And for the 1964 Immigration Act that disfavored white European Christians in favor of 3rd-worlders. "It won't change our nation," he said.
