Maybe they can oust him as Leader if they have the numbers and are upset enough at his surrender tactics.

**********

Naw, its just political theater.

Don’t be distracted by the noise. Republicans have no principles to fight over and Mitch will be right back in his senate leadership position. Noting will change.

This is not hard. We must have the GOPe Senators vote NO to raising the debt ceiling. Vote NO on any continuing resolution to fund the government. Vote NO on the Bankrupt America Bill. Experimental gene therapy mandates are losing in courts everywhere and losing bigly. Do not negotiate with the commies to get something on mandates that we are highly likely to already get from the courts.

Focus on the issue, which is Commie spending is fueling inflation which is about to get out of control and bankrupt the country. That is what must be stopped. Shutdown the government? What a joke. Maybe 15% of the government is given extra paid vacation time. Interest on debt continues to be paid, SS checks continue to go out.

I'd say nearly half his members want to shut down the government including some reliable establishment types like Roger Marshall from Kansas

The say they do. I'd say that nearly 100% of them SAID they wanted to get rid of Obamacare. For 10 years they said that was their number one priority. Talk is cheap, given the power to do it they said 'yeah, that was a lie. sorry!'.

I'll believe that there is a real split in the Senate GOP caucus when I see it. They always come through for the uniparty. Just look at all the legislative success Biden has had with GOP support and contrast to the GOP refusal to support Trump with legislature ever. What they do is way more important than what they say.

the GOP attacked their voters and the President,
then meekly gave America to ChInA for election
fraud which remains as acceptable to THEM as ROMNEYObamaCARE.

the GOP is evil, supports “vax”-rape and mandates
and IDs, just like they supported the guillotines
and Xiden.

any impeachment? no.

they are useless, beyond useless, and liars all.

Let’s face it, Mitch McConnell is nothing but controlled opposition and he works for the Democrats. Miss McConnell needs to go.

CNBC: “House strikes deal to avoid a government shutdown one day before deadline.”

Tempest, teapot. Name a shutdown that changed anything.

I believe with all my heart that if the rats keep their power in 2022 because the majority of our base is so deflated and disgusted with our elected backstabbing weasel officials, the majority of conservatives will stay home! This country cannot survive another 2 to 4 years of this kind of crap! We are done we are cooked! No hope?

The letter after the name means jack anymore.

A pol is either loyal to our former republic or to Deep State.

If they vote for this atrocity, they’re Deep State.

It’s just the same game. Dither till September. Then push to December. Then push to March.

We’ve had continuing resolutions and “cliffs” since 2007.

It’s all play-acting.

I doubt “half his members want to shut down the government”.
Willing to “shut down” is not the same as wanting to.

At the end of the day there is no real split. They ALL want to keep their jobs as senators. Some of them can read the handwriting on the wall, some of them can’t, and some of them know they can just tweak that handwriting with a little bit of graffiti to make it say what they want it to say.
