'Tis the season for McDonald's to bring back a fan favorite sweet treat: the Holiday Pie.
The dessert has returned to menus in "select regions" across the United States, the company confirmed. McDonald's has released the festive pastry for the past 10 years, but the areas of availability vary. Fans have spotted the pies in places including Oregon, Illinois and Texas so far this year. According to the chain, the Holiday Pie is a "mouthwatering pastry" that's filled with vanilla custard and baked in a buttery crust (similar in shape to its rectangular apple pie) and topped with rainbow sprinkles. McDonald's (MCD) said the pie will be available until early January, and as usual won't be released nationwide — making it a rare treat . The McRib was sold in a similar manner, but last year McDonald's finally launched it nationwide.

Their prices are insane now and the food has sucked for ages...
Break out the Lil Debby Christmas Pies!!
When I was 16, I worked at a McDonald's for a month and used to make the fried pies. They came out of the fryer at about the temperature of the Sun. Took forever to cool off, too.
The pies today are baked. Totally lame.
Surprisingly, the location I worked was the cleanest workplace I've ever seen. Every 30 minutes, we mopped the floor with water so hot that it would scald you if touched. To this day, I eat Filet O' Fish sandwiches and Big Macs because I remember making them. I never made one, but I like McRibs, too.
I’ve always liked the fish sandwich; but so often now, they’re kind of soggy and cold.
If you want to impress me McDonalds, bring back the McDLT w/ fresh ground beef and the environment killing container.
It used to be a great inexpensive place.
at least the DLT had real fixins on it, bur yeah, Lame!
Bring back the fries and fried apple pie when they actually had those deep fryers jacked up with beef tallow.
We were robbed by the mid-late 1980’s health craze.
The apple pie
I am eating now has lard in the crust!!
vegans gonna bitch, get some animal fat for my veggies!!
Since I’ve gone on a strict no wheat diet that stuff doesn’t even look appealing to me.
Looks like a sh=t biscuit,
Miniaturized too
Ok, I remember a McDonald’s in Yorktown, first one, sign said over a thousand sold..lol
the home of the swollen arches...
Yeah, but it’s the best pig anus sandwich around.
Just the sight of anything from “McD’s” loosens the bowels, and not in a good way.
Not much of a fast food person, but I’ve gotta say, Micky D’s fish sandwich is pretty good. The fried fish, cheese, and a bit of tartar sauce is a nice combo.
Pretty sure their pies are baked, to be “healthy.”
Lol
