Thank you. On the upside, poison ivy is really a nuisance rather than a disaster. I expect it will be gone in three to four weeks and then, I won’t be dealing with it while overseas.
We’re on track for a departure soon. We’ll get covid tests about 48 hours prior. Then, it will be all systems go!

My father and step-mother used to spend the winters there. I wonder if they ever went to see the parade of lights. Have you gone to see them?
We have the boat parade of lights here also. I haven’t been for years. They weren’t near as impressive as this parade in Havasu. I think they have gotten better over the years.
Sunnyside which is 60 miles from Pasco has what they call the Farm equipment Parade. From videos I have seen they are much more spectacular then the boat parade. This year they finally came to the Tri-Cities this year but they gave such short notice as to what town and what route they were taking that I didn’t know about it until it was to late. :-(

The unprovable theory that people who are vaccinated and get Covid will have fewer symptoms and less severe cases is their rationale. Too bad that the CDC does not want to do actual studies on this.
