White evangelical Christians have resisted getting vaccinated against COVID-19 at higher rates than other religious groups in the United States. A new study by Yale researchers provides evidence that persuading these vaccine holdouts to get their shots has only gotten more difficult.
"At this point, unvaccinated white evangelicals seem resistant to messaging aimed at persuading them of the benefits of being vaccinated against COVID-19," said Gregory A. Huber, the Forst Family Professor of Political Science in Yale's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and a co-author of the study. "It's not clear whether this is because resistance to vaccination among white evangelicals has increased over time or that the current holdouts were always the least persuadable. What is clear is that messaging that was effective last fall, before vaccines were approved, now seems ineffective."
The initial survey, fielded on a nationally representative sample of 855 white evangelicals, gauged how various messages affected white evangelicals' intentions to get vaccinated, their willingness to advise a friend to get the shots, and their judgments of people who refuse the vaccine. Respondents were randomly assigned to one of seven conditions: A placebo message unrelated to COVID-19, a baseline message about vaccine efficacy, or five treatment messages that added specific content to that baseline.
…Neither survey showed that values-based messaging was successful at persuading white evangelicals to get vaccinated, contrasting with prior research that has found that values-consistent messaging increased positive attitudes towards masking among members of the same group.
"This study highlights the importance of testing and re-testing messages as the people requiring persuasion changes over time," said Scott E. Bokemper.

That said, I don’t buy anything a Kennedy says, either, for the same reasons... Maybe we could send the author something simple that would explain the problem. Like “Peter and the Wolf.”
I know of two.
I also know of someone who dropped unexpectedly dead after vaccination, and of two teen girls with severe side effects from the vaccine.

Zero. My brother Mike was at death’s door but is recovering. Other friends tested positive but self quarantined with mild symptoms.
And that is why I stated that I posted my information for information only. We should be informed as to why we are making the decisions we make. For us to say that the vaccine contains fetal cells is bad information. We should be precise when we communicate our reasons, if we do feel the need to explain ourselves.
Something like that ... the world has been getting the prep for decades.

If I believed the vaccine prevented COVID effectively or lessened its severity I’d have some sympathy for your view.
I know several fully vaccinated people who got COVID after the fact at this point. None died. But only two people I have remotely known in the whole almost two years have died so -
I think there is good evidence that the vaccine itself is killing and harming people, too. And there is plausible theory that it is promoting and accelerating mutations.
So I don’t think it is the only moral thing to do, to get vaccinated. I think it may be immoral. However, with all the conflicting info being put out by our “leaders,” who have been appalling, I don’t blame anyone for getting or not getting it.
Although the use of fetal cells in the r and d is a serious issue as well.
It’s a good question. I will wait a bit longer this time to get a booster, and I think once a year is my limit. If it’s required for international travel, yes. But I won’t be so quick to get it this time (even though I’m then older!) and I hope to get the Norovax, a more traditional vaccine, and I will NOT get it in my left shoulder as twice I’ve gotten vaccine-induced bursitis (once from a flu shot, once from the J&J).
I think it’s the same type folks who stepped up to fighting the revolutionary war.

So, does that logic work?
Alternative media and medicine advocates will tell you that the COVID vaccines have too many side effects and they are not as rare as the BBC asserts. The U.S. Government. Big Pharma, and the liberal media, along with right of center outlets like Fox News and Salem Communications, adhere to the vaccines only story line. In my opinion, neither side has proven their case.
This is certain: the lying liberal media is using Mr. Lamb's death as propaganda. Looking at Google's top stories. his death is the top story, with the Washington Post, NBC, CBS, the Guardian, Newsweek, and local papers in Fort Worth, New York, and Seattle repeating the same story. Big propaganda coup for the Left.
I only know one person who was seriously ill with Covid, pre- or post-vax. He is an older guy with a drinking problem and other health issues. I don’t know anyone who has died from Covid, although I know six or seven people who have died of other things in the last two years.
Ms. Shaw did not die from Covid. She died from the mRNA “vaccine”.
I’ve not read anything saying that she had any health problems. But the autopsy said she died from a reaction to the Vaccine.
And you are correct about the left. They have done this exact same thing related to at least 3 well known conservatives who have spoken about the vaccine (jab) and died with Covid.
They Mocked the dead and said hateful things about them.

I don’t know anyone who has died from Covid. Of the adults I know who had it since the vaccines came out, three of four were vaccinated. All four of their unvaccinated kids caught it, maybe from them.
