I don't think that is true. Actively calling the defenses during the game is one thing, overriding or chiming in on defenses during the game is another thing, game planning is another, and building the defense is yet another.
In the case of the Patriots, there is no question that Belichick builds the defense, and oversees the game planning, both in conjunction with an existing Defensive Coordinator like Dean Pees or Matt Patricia. I have no doubt Belichick takes the lead and has the final say of the overall defensive game plan.
Heh, THAT is not even debatable!
In all my years of watching (I began watching the Patriots around 1993 after a time-out from football for about a decade because I was so obsessive about it...I had a half a season ticket for a few years...:) the active calling of defenses was done by the Defensive Coordinator, and sometimes, they would put it on a subordinate such as the Linebacker Coach I suspect to ensure that if the Defensive Coordinator dropped dead, someone else could step in without having to do it cold.
However, I do admit I don't know about this year, as they don't have a real Defensive Coordinator and it may be true that Belichick has been doing it the whole time this year, hence the conversation I heard discussing it.
Let’s hope that Coach Mike McCarthy and the other ill Cowboys are taking ivermectin and HCQ.
You mean the fake vaccine didn’t work again? 🤪
As long as Dak doesn’t test positive, I need him for my dwindling fantasy hopes (RIP CMC).
Not so sure about that.
Wouldn’t a Patriots-Buccaneers Super Bowl be delicious?
I remember that quote from Ike Taylor:
"When you see him in the playoffs, it’s usually a sign that your season is about to be over. He’s the Grim Reaper."
I admire Brady greatly. I wish him all the best. But I simply don't want to see him in the Playoffs!
I don't think seven Super Bowl rings could be attributed all to him, all to Belichick, or all to the teams, but...I wouldn't want my team to face him. I would rather have them face ANYONE else.
But you are 100% correct-a Patriots-Buccaneers Super Bowl would be real theater!
The Cowboys always do ‘Cowboy Things’..............Skip Bayless............
So why again the big push to get people “vaccinated” if it obviously doesn’t work? It seems that you are more likely to get the big, bad virus after you get the shots!
It does look that way, doesn’t it?............................
The injections don’t work, and the tests are flawed. LOL, America.
Go, Rangers!
Here’s why the vaxxes don’t work:
The mRNA essentially ‘teaches’ the body’s cell to make the spike proteins.
At first, if it doesn’t kill you from blood clots, they cause an immune response, sometimes severe with aches and pains and inflammation, like regular flu.
After a few weeks, the original mRNA ‘infected’ cells begins to die off, the immune system starts to ‘recognize’ the particles as ‘part of the body’ and begins to ignore them, thus the need for a ‘booster’. So the cycle starts all over.
By this time the virus has mutated to produce a different spike protein and the ‘vax’ is now useless..................
Looks like the Rangers are going for it this off-season.
The tests aren't so much 'flawed' as they are mostly inadequate. They cannot really differentiate between a regular flu or cold virus and the CoVid-19 virus since they are all p art of the same 'family' of viruses. To test for actual CoVid-19 all by itself requires more expensive testing equipment and methods....................

Our vile elites are certainly NOT going for “well done” on anything they’ve touched since the bat shit flu hit...
Where I live, the seven-day average of new infections is 10.81 cases for every 100,000 unvaccinated residents and 2.71 cases for every 100,000 fully vaccinated residents.
The vaccines, designed for the original virus, were designed to protect from hospitalization and death but even with Delta, there are effective.
The boosters increase protection of Delta and reduce transmission.
But you and a majority on this board would rather mislead people.
Unfortunately, I am worried about the vaccines efficacy with the latest variant. I hope this latest variant is not as severe.
The boosters increase protection of Delta and reduce transmission.

I’ve seen no studies which show reduced transmission following vaccination.
