“..thus, state will no longer have a Nat Guard, but rather a militia ..”
Excellent...that would put them out of reach of the filthy Union government! And if those cockroaches in the pentagon think the active duty troops would go against their guardsmen brothers in arms they are in for a giant finger wave!
Now now. They should allow the Fed a reasonable time...say, 24 hours to reclaim their property, after which it is all forfeit.
~~~
It’s okay to leave tanks and helicopters in Afghanistan though.
But what do individual NG contracts state? Does it matter if the Pentagon decertifies the Guard, the fed may be legally bound to honor current enlistment contracts?
““BREAKING: Defense official reportedly says, if the Oklahoma National Guard doesn’t comply with COVID vaccine requirements, they will no longer be ‘maintaining national recognition,’ thus, state will no longer have a Nat Guard, but rather a militia – VOA’s Pentagon correspondent,” the post from Insider Paper, which is a blue-check verified account, noted.”
And a well regulated one at that.
As a Native Oklahoman, I’m good with desertification.
Lovely snark. Bravo!
And also declare that any federal equipment, money, etc., now belongs to the state militia!!
The state can now buy that equipment from the Taliban!
Guess that means the OK guard will not get to be cycled through the government’s next endless & useless war...
It also might mean that OK will be able to secure the integrity of elections in the state using the guard at every polling station to monitor and validate both the voters AND, after the polls close, the vote counters...
OK would be the only state that actual citizen voters could have their vote mean something by not being overwhelmed with both phantom mail-in & absentee votes and with migrant invader vermin votes...
Unfortunately, there are 30-to-40 million vermin voters nationwide set to be counted in 2024...
Here in MD, migrant vermin are automatically given the option to register to vote at the Motor Vehicle Administration locations... The migrant vermin all do... The bilingual clerks make sure that they do...
“A federal National Guard is actually not constitutional. State militias are constitutional.”
Hmm. If that’s true then why is there a National Guard?
When is the last time we followed that old relic of the past called the constitution? Everything is now done by Executive Order (Fiat)…phones, pencils, and Czars
The federalization of state militias should have been fought /, prevented by the governor’s and senators of the early 1900s. Just another example of the select few always wanting to centralized power.
many things currently exist that aren’t constitutional ...
““It is a lawful order for National Guardsmen to receive the Covid vaccine. It is a lawful order,” Defense Department press secretary John Kirby stated,....”
“Now now. They should allow the Fed a reasonable time...say, 24 hours to reclaim their property, after which it is all forfeit. Also, I hope any Feds reclaiming such things have their papers in order, it would be a shame for that to be delayed...”
...3 months after those morons and traitors left $85 billion of equipment in Shitholeistan to the 7th Century, America-hating, ragheads.
The chain of command is as you state, but the NG’s get federal funding for equipment and training under agreements that allow them to be federally called up. I am not sure of the details of these agreements, but its where they are attempting to leverage the federal dollars to get compliance. I am also not sure what is required for ‘certification’, but the threat to decertify is certainly not based on a level of readiness or performance. Its just bullying.
Oklahoma can control its own national guard without Beltway interference. Maybe other States will want to do the same.
