If it was the dementia ward, not really. My grandma was always hiding her pills from the nurses/staff. If a patient/resident had managed to smuggle some ammo in with them, I could totally see them hiding some in a spot like the toaster.
What time of the night did this alleged incident occur in a resident's room at a South Carolina assisted living facility?!?
Are residents in South Carolina assisted living facilities allowed to have toasters in their rooms?!? That would seem like a firecode safety no-no.
And that's not even considering whether ammo is allowed in South Carolina assisted living facilities, unless the faciity has turned into an "assisted suicide" facility.

I am not buying that a toaster will set a round off. I’m probably not an expert like the ones at AP. I only shoot about 15000 a year.
