American cities are reverting to primitive, self-destructive behavior
American Thinker ^ | 29 Nov, 2021 | Andrea Widburg

The latest example is taking place in West Portal, once the most solidly middle class of all middle-class neighborhoods in San Francisco.

American cities on the Democrats’ watch are drifting away from civilization. The most obvious problem is the rise in crime, everything from murders to mass retail theft. Just open any Chicago or New York newspaper to see what I mean. But the decline in civilization happens in smaller ways, too, as a story out of San Francisco perfectly illustrates.

I grew up near San Francisco’s West Portal neighborhood. My first elementary school, before busing took me out of one white, middle-class elementary school within walking distance of my home and sent me to another white, middle-class elementary school that was not, was West Portal Elementary. According to my copy of San Francisco’s West Portal Neighborhoods, my school was built in 1926, at around the same time the entire neighborhood was developed.

The book’s back cover nice describes the neighborhood I knew:

When you're in West Portal and the adjacent Forest Hill and St. Francis Wood, it's hard to believe you're still in San Francisco. These quiet and picturesque neighborhoods are decidedly non-urban, yet they are connected by a streetcar tunnel that leads under Twin Peaks to the bustling downtown area, two miles through the city's mountainous core. In fact, West Portal is named for the western end of

SNIP

Even when we were very little, my friends and I could safely walk around the busy West Portal shopping street, just down the hill from our school. Clutching quarters in our hands, we’d buy candy or ice cream. The shopkeepers knew us, and we’d often run into our parents’ friends, who knew us too. It was very much a family neighborhood.

We found you hiding, we found you lying
Choking on the dirt and sand
Your former glories and all the stories
Dragged and washed with eager hands

But ohh, oh your city lies in dust, my friend
Ohh, oh your city lies in dust, my friend
Your city lies in dust

The shattering of civilization, it’s morals and mores, is directly related to Dem/prog//lefty political perversions.

We got one of these pervs illegally occupying our WH.

Meet the Technology That’s Uncovering 2020’s Voter Fraud
Townhall.com ^ | November 29, 2021 | Jay Valentine
Posted on 11/29/2021, 6:15:43 AM by Kaslin

The search for phantom voters is over. Phantom voters are sitting next to you at the restaurant or standing next to you at the bank. They are your friend and neighbor. You may be a phantom and not know it.

Phantom voters, the definition, is morphing from fake voters hiding in UPS boxes to people who advanced computer models predict will not vote.

SYNOPSIS. Leftists/Progs/Dems really care that every vote is cast, and if you don’t cast your vote, they’ll do it for you.

FTA——You’ve heard the stories, denied by the mainstream press and almost every secretary of state: there is no significant voter fraud. Why do they say that? B/c there was no way to check.......until now.

Reporting of 2020 election results “mysteriously” stopped in the middle of the night.
<><>vote trajectories “magically” changed when they restarted,
<><>thousands of people, just like you, didn’t buy it.

They formed armies of canvassers in 35 or more states. They did something that has not been done at scale in the history of the country: they started checking voter rolls.

They filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests at unprecedented levels.

Those who oversee elections, Secretary of state offices, once a murky sinecure, had to answer real questions about what was going on.

Liberals used to complain about food deserts after supermarkets were driven out of neighborhoods by looting. Now retail deserts are going to spring up as looting shutters all kinds of shops. Next we’ll see home invasions as in Clockwork Orange. If there are no police, vigilantism is a logical response. Not in my neighborhood.

Cities do not equal civilization.
Especially now as they produce less and less and demand more and more.
Sure there are civil people who had learned to adapt to living in a city.
Don’t walk in certain areas .. especially at night.
Always watch your back.
Don’t walk up a blind alley. don’t let your kids out of sight for even a minute.
Not really civilized.

These cities were doomed once parents could no longer raise children there. Commuting into a city has been a futile attempt to stave off the inevitable decline.

“Don’t walk in certain areas .. especially at night.”

Unfortunately as civilization deteriorates, all areas become unsafe. Urban gangs fill large passenger vans with youth below the age of 16, drive out into rural communities and turn the youth loose to rob houses, barns, and unlocked vehicles. When rarely they are caught, liberal judges turn the “children” loose with a coached promise they won’t do it again.

Car hijackings have become common at gasoline stations, even in good neighborhoods. Armed robberies in parking lots of shopping centers are also common. We now read everyday about flash mobs invading and pillaging high end stores.

The barbarians are inside the gate and running wild with little opposition. The thin veneer of civilization is almost completely shattered.

The only good aspect of the CCP virus has been the use of telecommuting. Less and less reason to travel to a city the better. There was white flight in the 60s, now we have worker flight. Left to their own, the cities will collapse into piles of debris. So, along comes the democraps and their build back better plan which will carpet bomb these hell holes will dollars to attempt to prop them up. It will be like tossing meat into a pool filed with piranha.
