ransomnote: I was reading comments on Steve Kirsch's article, PROOF: COVID vaccines cause prion diseases posted to FR and noted someone said that the Creutzfeldt-Jakob numbers (24) recorded post Covid 'vaccination' were "not outside what could have been expected".
I looked it up in VAERS and discovered that the number of adverse events reports averages 1 person per year, until the Covid 'vaccination' rollouts occurred, and 22 cases were reported post Covid 'vaccination'.

ransomnote: there are multiple ways to look up data in VAERS. Steve Kirsch used the search on a predefined 'symptoms' field that the doctor would use to record symptoms. Sometimes the searched for term was not enterred as a symptom but was instead enterred in doctors notes. So I searched doctors notes across all 30 years of VAERS data for the term and I see the average is 1 or 2 cases a year, until you get to Covid 'vaccines' which already account for 22 cases of Creutzfeldt-Jakob.
This isn't a case of over-reporting for Covid 'vaccines'. Doctors and nurses have gotten the message that Covid 'vaccines' are a sensitive subject - one whistleblower nurse lost her job for reporting to VAERS and trying to get others to report to VAERS.

Comparing Vaers data to usual annual incidence will be important and frightening as all of us have loved ones who are vaxxed.The usual annual incidence is about 450 in U.S. Supposedly has a long incubation.

That's comparable to the annual flu shot, so there really is a disparity - something is different about the Covid 'vaccines'.
The Covid 'vaccines' are indeed associated with elevated reports of C-J.

I remember people being suspicious at the time because he had appeared recently in public in good health and the experts who posted suggested you don’t usually die so quickly from this prion disease.

Uhm...no. I don't believe a squirrel-eating epidemic happened to be reported to VAERS. No.
There sure is alot of sensitivity about obvious issues with prion disease which have been predicted for these Covid 'vaccines'.
