Yup i think she was mentioned here too :)
Rachel just really went libtard overboard, she was basically doing tanning blackface and dyeing and kinking her hair

My wife always knew she had Cherokee blood. We looked it up one evening and found that her relative on the Cherokee Dawes Rolls was one eighth Cherokee at the time, so my wife is probably one 128th or 256th.

I have no Indian blood, but I have checked “Native American” a few times for the very reason you state.

I have some lineage of Cherokee in me too. But no one is ‘Cherokee’ until the tribe officially recognizes them as such. And there’s the rub. Lots of hurdles to jump through for that and they aren’t always clear-cut based on DNA....

Apparently she thought that she could use her incredible ugliness to advantage by claiming to be a native. Problem is that even natives don’t want someone as ugly as her anywhere near them

We were always told there was Cherokee in our background. It even made it’s way into a family history.
One day while reading it, I realized, through other accounts, the person (My Great- grandmother) was actually Italian-German.
There are plenty of Cherokees on my wife’s side of the family.

A lot of Indians in Canada have some French ancestry. This leads people to think that French Canadians in Quebec must have some Indian ancestry, but it's not as common as people think.
Carrie Bourassa's actual ancestry is Russian, Polish, and (like Rachel Dolezal who also has German and Swedish ancestry) Czech.
A real part-Indian metis, a descendant of the famous rebel Louis Riel's family, was appointed to investigate Bourassa.
But the true part-Indian lawyer and activist actually has a lighter and Whiter complexion than Bourassa.
Life (and racial identity) is funny that way.

Metís is mixed blood. In other contexts that would be Mulatto or Mestizo. All her mixed is up.

The Metis I knew from the Kinkino reserve looked more like the Cree and less like the French, but I realize they were probably the exception.
