Salvation Army trying to weasel their way out of their woke statement.
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
This certainly isn’t one chapter going off the rails. The contributors to the 67 page document are listed and they are nationwide. Many different chapters. Read the document and demand “change” from your “sources.”
I actually read their words and what they said was if you were a Salvationist and had been a racist or had committed racist acts you should repent and apologize, which I think is acceptable. There was no call for apologizing simply because you are white. Then I find that a lot of the criticism is driven by Neo-Nazis which raises an immediate red flag. My feeling is this is an over reaction fueled by malice. If you disagree, be advised that I couldn’t care less so don’t waste your breath replying.
The “change” has happened.
All Salvation Army has left is an army of liars to try to save their skin.
You don’t need to read this if you do not want to...but anytime the words “systemic racism” is used, as it is in this document, that is a clear statement that all whites are racist and something needs to be done about it.
You remind me of the German Jews who read Mein Kampf and couldn’t figure out what the problem was....

Most of what has been donated in the past has become mist. :)
The Salvation Army could take a giant step were they to ask for forgiveness.
The weasal:
The document being discussed:
Forgiveness would be fine—but:
Non denial denials are not going to cut it.
They need to specifically denounce and name anti-white racism without equivocation.
They need to take specific actions against those chapters who engaged in anti-white racism.
They need to _earn_ forgiveness.
“This is like the similar Chick-Fil-A controversary.”
Coincidentally, Chick Fil-A Foundation President is a Salvation Army board member where this woke scheme originated.
“National advisory board members include Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones, Chick-Fil-A Foundation President Rodney Bullard and charter school pioneer J.C. Huizenga.”
Good info thanks. No surprise.
You can see in this very thread why corporations and large organizations support the Marxist agenda. Plenty of useful idiots on the right will happily sell Marxists the rope they will use to hang us all. In the case of SA it is literally paying for the rope.
“Very few I support. Mostly animal shelters.”
Us, too. “Dog Is My Co-Pilot”, “Cat House On The Kings”, and a couple of local no-kill shelters.
Non-animal: Legal Counsel, Hillsdale, and Bible Broadcast Network.
“Meanwhile, we have Samaritan’s Purse.”
And Franklin Graham is saying that if you don’t get the vaccination you’re not a good Christian because you’re endangering other people. I didn’t help with the church’s Samaritan’s Purse effort this year. If FG’s going woke, the organization will, too.
The Lord doesn’t demand that forgiveness be earned, just that we ask for it. You would think the Salvation Army would know that.
” if you were a Salvationist and had been a racist or had committed racist acts you should repent and apologize, which I think is acceptable.”
The First Amendment gives people the right to be racists if they want to be. It’s un-cool, but it’s “acceptable”.
The Lord doesn’t demand that forgiveness be earned, just that we ask for it. You would think the Salvation Army would know that.
Vaxx pushing is very very bad—thanks for letting us know.
I don’t trust national organizations.
If I can’t look someone in the eye, shake their hand and judge their character that way, no way am I giving them money.
I demand that forgiveness be earned.
