What the energy secretary doesn't know about energy would fill a Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
Reassuring worried Americans that there will be enough oil for the Thanksgiving holidays, yesterday President Joseph Biden (D) informed a concerned citizenry of plans to release 50,000,000 barrels of oil from the emergency Strategic Petroleum Reserve in an effort to bring down high gas prices.
Wow! Fifty million barrels of oil! That's a lot of oil isn't it, Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm? That should take care of America's energy needs for quite a while right? "How many barrels of oil does the U.S. consume per day?," a reporter commonsensically asked. "I don't have that number in front of me. I'm sorry," Granholm replied.

This writer doesn’t grasp the magnitude of Biden’s intellect. After using this 50 million barrels there will be 550 million left. That’s almost a whole month of oil. What’s the worry? It appears to me that the regime might be purposely running us out of energy in order to possibly replace the Covid crisis and lockdowns with an energy crisis and lockdown of personal transportation. After another year of this universal mail in ballots might be the only option since no one will have gas but the gubmint agencies and politically connected.
Open the pipelines and drill.
My take is that faced with that question, Granholm went through a quick assessment of “which rotten apple do I pick?” I think she actually knew the answer to the question but her evaluation was this... Would I rather be ridiculed for not knowing the answer to the question? Or should I answer the question only to be faced with the follow up question of “so you do realize that 50 million barrels only represents 2 1/2 days of consumption, don’t you?”
Her on the spot assessment was to pick the first rotten apple thinking that she stood a better chance of bluffing her way through it....
The media does all it can to help the total coverup of everyone associated with biden and his communist policies.
