Well unfortunately they have both sides of the country so riled up as it is always! How do you think they get US or anybody else to fight each other? And you’re right as they are on their private property, islands, ocean liners etc. One side will reap the rewards. I hope it’s our side:-)

If the men in the Arbery case get off on self-defense as well, stand-by. Rural areas are heavily armed, small cities in conservative and religious enclaves are also heavily armed. IF, the rule of law regarding self-defense trumps political persecution it gives the oligarchs pause as their BLM and ANTIFA minions become legal targets in riots and anarchy. As of now, I am fine with the oligarchs burning down Portland, NYC and any liberal city for that matter. As for Chicago, a once beautiful city by the lake, my Grandfather once told me he did not understand why people cared if mobsters killed each other. As long as no innocents were hurt, he said give them more guns and let them at it. Sounds like a plan for Chicago. Instead of a gun buying program, give them more guns and get out of the way.
I am rambling. Sorry. A divorce is in the works, maybe not in my lifetime, but certainly in the next 100 years. Odd though, the Blue States and cities want that divorce also. But those idiots do not realize we do not need them, they need us. We can raise grains, cattle and just about everything we need. They import everything. To bad I won't be around to witness the mess when you have the “Philly Airlift” (shades of Berlin Airlift) trying to get food in from around the globe to feed its residents.

Ask yourself why the Pelosi’s in this country fear and loath the military? Iraq and Afghanistan trained a lot of people in the art of warfare. This is why they have turned every three letter Fed LOE agency into a quasi military. The FBI does the bidding of the swamp where the military may not.
Much of it softened up by govt schools and media. More all the time. Not that I think they'll waste any missiles on citizens. They'll pry the guns from the compliant and let the die hards die out naturally. Rather like China will do to us; China will go on quietly poisoning, cheating, and outfoxing us until the takeover is complete, with not a shot fired.
Sure, you can live in the wilderness like a Japanese holdout...eventually you get extracted and find out who's president.

We aren’t there yet. For instance, can you name any state that would give up federal funding of education in exchange for relative autonomy in something that was historically a state/local controlled operation? Until we say no to the money, we can’t even passively secede.

You don’t get self government. When a state(s) secedes then THEY form a new federal govt. and all the federal taxes now go to it. They, the new state(s) federal govt gets to do the exact same thing as the old fed OR NOT.
We've already seen that happen...........You're right, there will not be a hot civil war as long as people have their jobs, their mortgages, their truck payments, boat payments and week day and weekend soccer practices with their kids.......
